I'm not sure I can, I wouldn't want to without Rob's permission

So now that waldorf has made a wavetable editor for wave 3.v a standalone waveterm could be a good next project for them. Maybe outsource it to the guy who made audio-term even. That could be a nice waldorf eco system where waveterm could make and export wavetables for all waldorf synths like largo, blofeld and microwave and where people could make (sell) sounds and wavetables for the synths

I prefer the wavetable editor in Nave - it's very powerful (although export is limited to its own format - not sure if they can be covered?)Buka wrote: Sun Sep 07, 2025 10:11 pm So now that waldorf has made a wavetable editor for wave 3.v a standalone waveterm could be a good next project for them. The one in the PPG is very limited and very fiddly

Tried out the demo today and liked the new features.
I am surprised though that they still did not fix the bug I reported to them repeatedly ages ago:
Selecting the wavetables via midi cc#35 is documented in the manual but does not work properly. Some tables are always skipped because there is a mapping mistake between the cc values 0..127 and the wavetable numbers 0..31. (Some of the new wavetable banks have less than these 32 original wave tables). I sent them another support request..

Yes, I reported that and they confirmed it as a bug.aMUSEd wrote: Sun Sep 07, 2025 8:39 pm Can anyone confirm is host automation working properly on Windows? (not MIDI automation)
They said "try to fix it"...

Is there a documentation somewhere of the new features, like the wavetable editor? The user manual on the Waldorf website is for the previous version.
Also: Funny that the GUI still shows the old Waldorf Logo with the horziontal stripes.

Yes, the manual is installed alongside. I forget how you access it from the plugin interface though. But do search your system for Wave 3.V Manual.pdf.

OK, I will look for it tonight.
The PDF-manual of the previous edition doesn't seem to mention how to open the manual from the user interface.

For me on Windows:
C:\ProgramData\Waldorf\PPG Wave 3.VC:\ProgramData\Waldorf\PPG Wave 3.V\PPG Wave 3.V Manual.pdf
C:\ProgramData\Waldorf\PPG Wave 3.VC:\ProgramData\Waldorf\PPG Wave 3.V\PPG Wave 3.V Manual.pdf
Anyone who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities.
