Sorry for the webcam comment. I have an obsbot also, and I couldn’t stop laughing about the zoom options for following just the body, or lower body. Super interesting feature to include.

Yeah, it's an OBSbot Tiny2 4k. I really like it. Easy to use.

Nice one. I have that same one. No remote though, but I’ll likely add it. Very smooth changes compared to mapping it to the Stream Deck.

It's not as responsive to the remote as I'd like but it is indeed a step up from using the Streamdeck to control it.

Next time I hope to have another camera, that will just be a DSLR running into an HDMI to NDI interface. But the computer I'm using struggles with that setup a little. I''m going to bring a more powerful Mac from work, next time.

George is a musician, sound artists and all around great guy, with some really amazing stories to tell. Originally I was planning to interview him first and then he would perform a set. However, since we can ramble on for quite a while once we get started, I think we will be doing the performance first, then the interview.

Thanks to everyone who was watching. Sorry for the low volume at the start. This time we were direct monitoring, to avoid latency issues but we didn't have a good idea of the levels hitting the stream. We'll get it right eventually.

I'm planning to have a guest performer every other episode and try to make it through 10 episodes. So far it's been a lot of fun!

or maybe gear talk is better for prerecord/edit than live stream?

I get really busy in the winter time. I plan to keep doing streams but I’ll probably need to take a break around January and February.

Not to side-rail your thread, but as it was brought up during your stream... Here's a pic of some of my 'bread-n-butter' art stuff (in contrast to commercial/commissioned/sub-contracted*, etc) I sold at street fairs/art fairs, and 'The Market' for decades. The middle one is about 6" in diameter. They all had little themed character specific 'blurbs' printed on cards, which I'll spare you, but Clock-wise from 12 O'clock=The Basic Happy Guy, The Ego That Wouldn't Leave, Dig-A-Rhythm, The Otherside Of The Moon (speculation only), Cloud Walker, The Way Zen Guy, and Murray in the middle.

* The Basic Happy Guy was actually a commission/sub-contract through a friend who was the ad campaign photographer for the very first Washington State lottery drawing called "The Jokers Wild". It was a portrait/some-what-ish caricature which was to be mounted on a hand-held stick (3/4"x12" dowel), and adorned with the same make-up/costume (jester hat/pleated collar) as the model named Dave, whom upon meeting to get the measurements and photos I needed, I openly observed him to be a "basic happy guy".

Nice sculpts! Are these clay? When you wrote bread-n-butter, I immediately considered actual bread-n-butter creations!

Those are incredible! Thanks for sharing! great expressions and details. I love to work with pottery and other forms of sculpting but I'm just not much of a visual artist. I really admire your work.

I'm planning to stream on Saturday the 27th at 2pm PDT. This week I'll be messing with modular synths in Bitwig.



Things have been really busy, what with the LA Synth Club's 3rd anniversary last Sunday and the local open mic night on Thursday, so I may not be well prepared but I'm sure I'll have fun one way or another.
