We've just shipped the latest free update for Flite - v1.1.5 which includes a number of updates to the samplers - new looping tools, sample reverse and sample fade curve selection, amongst minor bug fixes

I'm so glad this is here. I just saw a YT vid about the best new plugins this month and this was on it. Loved the sounds, but I kept thinking I have stuff that does this, do you need this? The answer is obviously yes. Wishing you guys much success.

Hi

We've just put our biggest update to date live. Flite v1.2

Flite Create v1.2 is free for all existing paid Flite Create users.

For new users, the price remains at $69 this week with 30% off RRP of $100.

v1.2 features:

- Auto mappable samples according to key and velocity labels - you can now pretty much create full instruments in just a few clicks from a folder of labelled wav files.
- New audio pool - for managing samples within each multi instrument
- Faster preset loading - up to 30% faster than prior versions - Even with presets that contain 4 multisampled instruments
- Shuffle between multisampled instruments using "go to < and > " buttons - Making multisampled instruments feel like oscillators in their own right
- Readable sample loop points - Flite's sampler can read sample loop metadata created in applications like Sample Robot.
- Improved preset search - full text searching of packs and libraries.
- Presets can (finally!) be selected by clicking enter - it's the small wins!

Hello,

Studio 77 and Ultimate 808 are out now for Flite - Studio 77 is a palette of classic disco sounds, from drums to pads, strings to synths - featuring classic Moog Model D bass patches, drum hits from the Linn LM2 with custom EPROMs and Sequential Circuits Drumtraks, pads and strings from the Roland Juno 60, Jupiter 6/8, assorted Rhodes & Wurlitzer chords and much more.

Ultimate 808 is a multi-velocity 808 preset with over 160 beautifully record TR-808 samples - with various tuning and snappy settings laid across multiple keys and velocities. The harder the velocity, the snappier the snare and the more driven the kick is. You can check out demos and grab both here:

How did you pick the brand name? It looks oddly close to Waves. It's just a single letter away (s->a) on a qwerty keyboard!

I forgot to download the Wavea 808 when Beat had it for free. :(

We're about to release a new feature that involves something with grains ;)
After that we're going to frequently do more updates and listen to user feedback. We're getting more requests for Linux these days, so seems to be more popular now. If you want, we can send you a beta vst3 once we have it. Would you like to try it out then?
