Not yet, it's being processed by NI currently.

I thought I read somewhere that it would be part of Impact Soundworks, but maybe that was just a rumor?

No, that's true. ISW acts as distributor.

I've paid € 50 more than three years ago for the Reaktor ensemble, with the promise that I would receive the official/1.0 release once it's released. I wonder if that will ever happen

The developer guy is very kind, and sent me the pre-official version with a nice GUI so close to the hardware.

I was wondering if are there limitations using Reaktor for it versus building it from scratch? E.g. - I’m not sure if NI has been updating Reaktor or not, or maybe it ends up having higher cpu usuage, etc.

Of course doing it from scratch in C++ could make it more performant. But that is not an option here considering the amount of work already invested.

Performance wise , yes , audio wise no .Examigan wrote: Sat Apr 26, 2025 11:34 amI was wondering if are there limitations using Reaktor for it versus building it from scratch? E.g. - I’m not sure if NI has been updating Reaktor or not, or maybe it ends up having higher cpu usuage, etc.
See this , this is a list of the smallest building blocks in reaktor core , there are only 37 of them ( some of them have extended features in their properties )
As you can see there isn't even a sine function or a phasor .
Everything is made from these smallest atoms - Math,Bitwise, Flow,Memory , scoped bus and Bundle ., by itself these don't generate or produce any sound , all they do is parse , store -execute numerical data ( at audio rate )
Luckily there are lot's of classes provided and build for you by N.i.( from trigonometry to filters and envelopes etc..) , in the end everything is made from these small atoms .
Reaktor core is a propre dsp language , let this be understood once and for all
Don't let anyone fool you saying that reaktor core has a certain sound embedded , it's just not possible or true
