I wrote Sonible to inquire about possible discounts for existing FAST owners. This is the response:

UPDATE - Sonible is now offering a discount to FAST owners:
"Since FAST was a Focusrite product, we don’t have access to their customer data and therefore can’t offer a formal cross-grade. However, we internally view the LEARN series as a kind of “v2.0” of the original FAST tools - and we decided to offer something extra to previous FAST users who are interested in continuing their journey with us:
If you own one or more FAST plug-ins, just send us a quick proof of ownership (e.g. invoice or confirmation email) and we’ll provide a 50% discount on top of the current intro price, bringing the full learn:bundle down to just 24.50 EUR."

No challenge/response copy protection. Some people don't like iLok but it won't take away the plugins you thought you owned when the activation server gets shut down.

I don't think Focusrite have said anything concrete about closing down the activation servers for FAST but once they're out of support the chances of that happening only increase over time.

Thank you for sharing this offer! I sent them a screenshot of my FAST plugin account page and they sent me the 50% off code, which stacks with the current promo code for 30% off any item (EOS25), so I now have the full LEARN bundle for less than $10. I was irritated with Focusrite, but I appreciate Sonible hooking us up!
