There are 4 more colors you still need to try.

Tiger ELG-LBL £85 (pre-wired pickguard swap planned)
Roasted maple neck, full size poplar body. I've tried one and it felt great to play, the pickups were the weak point. A single coil sized humbucker to make it a HSS or similar would improve this to a worthy guitar.

I got another 4x12 cab, for 200 quid, and this time with speakers. A Hughes & Kettner Warp 412 with Rockdriver Junior speakers. The cab is plywood and ridiculously heavy. It's still at my mothers appartment, as I need to remove the speakers to handle it on my own and I didn't have the right tools to remove the speakers. So I haven't tried it yet. I'll get it the next time I'm over there. The speakers looks like budget speakers to me, small magnets. I've heard good things about them though, and they seem to sell second hand for up to 75 to 100 quid each. If I don't like them I can probably get the 200 quid back for the speakers alone

Was tempted by Northwest Guitars' reverse auction. I didn't need it but the price was silly.
I beat the GAS.

I couldn't help myself and got a Peavey XXL, they are just too cheap second hand. It's not the best sounding amp I have, it does sound pretty good though and is amazingly responsive, and a joy to play. I can do things with this amp I can't with any other amp I have

I've have another Eminence Texas Heat 16 ohm speaker on the way, which makes for two in all, and ordered two Celestion Midnight 60 16 ohm speakers. The Texas Heat speakers are for a 4x12, I'll figure out what I'll pair them with, which cab I'll use and how to fit them later. I'll either use a combination of serial and paralell to keep the cab at the same ohm as the speakers, or split each pair into two separate serial circuits at 8 ohm each

Saving up for a Fender MIM Player II Modified Stratocaster.
I hate the color selection. In order to get an SSS version with maple fretboard my choices are Hunter Green and Sunflower Yellow.

Jimi always looked so badass playing olympic white strats, but when you see them in person, they're kind of yellow-ish and lame.

I actually really like that color. Pastel colors, white pickguards and maple necks are Fender's superpower. Creamsicles - it's the only thing they do better than everyone else

I don’t know if it’s safe to post bass related things here or not, but just ordered a refurbed one of these Ampeg preamps from Yamaha’s London store. Have been using a Plugin Alliance plugin on my DAW but hoping this sounds a little closer to what I’m after.

Are you using the B-15n plugin? It's superb. Woodrow is also great on bass.

I’ll be pairing it with a Yamaha BB735a I’ve just bought, bit of an upgrade on my Ibanez GSR200 though that’s done sterling service.

Sweet bass! I wish mine had a matching headstock like that:
