Yeah, no. You can tweak things but there is definitely loss in quality. It's always a compromise. This ain't magic.

i've used the stem separator in logic pro a few times (needed), and it was not perfect. but the end result was better for it, and that's what i work most for: the end result.

I only corrected you on the line "with no loss in quality" as it's simply not true. That's all.

They do say that with the stem separator no information is thrown away (it's just carved up between the stems). In theory does that mean it needn't lose quality? Would be interested to hear real world experiences on that.

Just upgraded from my older Ozone 8 Standard to Ozone 12 Standard.

OT:I missed the ozone 7 upgrade.I do have ozone 11. Is it possible to get ozone 7?
I bought a pro mix academy course.The project uses ozone 7.Ozone 11 did not work in the project.

that's pretty... vague. there are so many tools, variables in OZ12. more than i use, altho occasionally i'll use something for the first time. and the new modules (and the new maximizer mode is impressive). can you clarify?
