D&B style beat was a surprise, but it works without a doubt.
Great sound combos / well-mixed / melodic hooks.
Very 1980s John Carpenter theme at times.

2 Area
Opening is annoyingly catchy!
Quite a contrast in many ways to the opener, but still fits alongside it well.

3 Still Love You
Another piece with strong melodic content – not too many notes in those well-constructed tunes! Makes them very hooky / catchy.

4 Each Single Dream
Mysterious / atmospheric miniature soundscape

5 The Journey
Beginning is quite ‘orchestral’ in a Vangelis sort of way if that makes sense.
Drums – again unexpected, but very effective…great overall groove to the piece.

Overview:
It all works well together with a strong sense of connection between the tracks despite the variety in there.
Very well produced.

Thank you for the review! Listened to "still love you": it sounds pleasant. The stereo effect was cool.

Just listened to the first song, but plan on returning to the others later. I particularly liked the mood, reminds me of Bowies "Low" album. The sound design and production choices are well adapted to this mood, it's not too much or too little. Some sounds have more movement and some are unapologetically "electronic" which gives it an authentic character.

Btw. can/do you enjoy your music after it is written?
I really like my own stuff during writing, programming or whatever; that feeling drives me forward to finish it. BUT when it is finished... oh boy... for the most pieces the feeling shifts drastically...

There are some tracks I always feel good about, even many years later.

Some I like at the time and then it all fades when I listen after a bit of a gap.

Some tracks that I'm just OK / reasonably pleased with at the time of release and then they grow on me later on.

Having a second listen today. This definitely has staying power.
