A fresh Serum 2 patch combining a wave-tabled Santur sound (mallet bouncing on string) with a spectral oscillator using the same sample and a noise oscillator with a bowed singing bowl.

Here's a helpful vid tutorial which may be of interest to those who produce breaks/jungle/dnb etc. Really crammed a lot of useful operations into this. I'll probably do a lot of pausing and rewinding myself due to my sloth like speed of retention of new information.
Idk if some of these are new features or what, I haven't kept up w/ the updates. New to me at least.

Serum is really powerful with chopping but that window is so tiny that it's a pita to work with it.
Steve Duda has talked about a unified view for all the oscillators so you can have one oscillator view with all the extended controls blown up like clip view or the wavetable editor.

If you watch the vid, once you send your sample bar/s to the clip view you can make it take up the whole page so the size of the osc is less an issue imo esp. since you can scroll to enlarge the slicing in the osc. window itself and get them basically as finely chopped as you like. You can also quantize chop them further in the clip view, idk I think it's a little nitpicky of a critique myself although it would be nice just to be able to just expand the oscillator window itself to a full page I agree w/ you there.kraster wrote: Sun Oct 05, 2025 3:01 pm Serum is really powerful with chopping but that window is so tiny that it's a pita to work with it.

Not only 'the font in some places' . The whole UI is blurry. I have issues with other plugins. I wonder why it's so hard to get this fixed in Serum.waxdoctor wrote: Sun Nov 30, 2025 9:00 am Version 2.0.24 still hasn't fixed the blurry font in some parts of the UI when scaling. What a pity.

Happens in Bitwig, Live, and Reaper.bitcrusher wrote: Mon Dec 01, 2025 3:14 pm If you're in Ableton Live , right-click the plugin in the list and disable AutoScale. Otherwise I'd suggest to open a support ticket on the website, ideally with a screenshot and display/host info.
I opened a ticket when Serum 2 was released. It included screenshots etc. The problem is known. Others reported as well, as far as I know.
The only changes here since then are the updates to the DAWs and macOS, all of which are the most recent.
