Yes exactly classic view was always customizable order. I was thinking the other day I wish you could in the new view too. Happy to see this.

Post

Ah, didn’t know that! I’ve been using a third-party tool all this time just for that one job.

If anyone is interested if you have custom imported libraries that don't have the graphics you just need to make one with the dimensions 1280x212px saved as NKS2_hardware_banner.webp and place it in the NI resources/Image/library name folder eg

This thread was probably better served in Samplers subforum tho :)

Good grief they're up to v8.7 already? I think someone at NI is going version/release-happy.

Edit: according to this, it's only up to v8.2: https://www.native-instruments.com/ni-t ... on-history

Post

The manual does not get updated at the same pace (unfortunately). The actual changelog is always available in Native Access.

Post

Thanks...sounds like they could use a tech writer :)

Post

It's nice update for sure. But sometimes it's still buggy BTW... Oh... 8.7 is here..seems that version 9 coming soon as well

Post

Nope version 9 is not happening "soon". We are more likely to see 8.10, 8.11 and so on.

Let's wait and see... I have a feeling that a Komplete 16 is on it's way due to all the releases and anouncements they're doing. Also right now I'm very happy with the stability of their software: it only crashes if I use more than 30 instances of K8 (of course depending of library sizes)

K16 is more likely next year I think...

Post

Maybe, but they anounced that they're working on their synth section and releasing a new synth, so I think it would be stupid to wait 2 years and then bundle everything old in K16 (which I wouldn't mind - more stuff😁)

That's exactly how Komplete works, roughly every 1.5-2 years a new release.
