It just occurred to me that I've already proved my worth as a beta tester.
Anybody want to throw some beta vst's my way?

I applied, I just hope that beta testers of this product are given better options than those that tested Livetools (i.e. something other than thanks after beta testing is done).
I'm not complaining, but I feel that people should know that once the testing was done, I was invited to pre-order a copy

So if you're doing this in hopes of obtaining a free piece of software be aware that it didn't happen with the beta testing of Liveset. After the betatesting program ended in early august, we're really proud to announce that
LiveSet 1.0 - our first product - has been released with a many new features more than
the last beta you tried! Shipping will start at the end of september, but you can now pre -
order your copy at our new PeterTools E-Shop...

getting an NFR for beta testing is not FREE,
real beta testing takes time.
I would hope you at least got a discount if you did any real testing, but even that would be bad.

I'm sorry for your disappointment 7XL,
but we have never heard about the policy of giving a free copy
to every betatester at the end of the betatesting program...
We, as a Company, betatested for Steinberg and we're doing it
for Propellerhead's Reason 3.0. No one of these companies plan
to give a free copy of their softwares at the end of the programs.
Anyway this should not be a problem for this codenamed
"Hammer" because it's going to be freeware and so coool.
Have fun, Peter.

it is just a small thanks for much needed help.
I have tested for maybe 50 companys now and have NEVER been asked to pay for a final version (well only one who I dont test for anymore)
Reason 3.0 is public beta, different thing.

topaz, no discount was offered.
Peter, as I stated in my original post, I'm not complaining, but most people expect expect something for their time and efforts.
Steinberg used to give beta testers a licensd copy, as far as their current policies I have no idea, I gave up on them after the Nuendo 2/AES debacle.
Reason requires you to be a registered 2.5 user to beta test 3.0
