Multi/Poly Native

PC, non-HiDPI. Doesn't matter if standalone or plugin. UI size set to Extended (130%). But it also happens at 100%.

I should have been more specific. Menus are (compared to most other plugins) obnoxiously large, like basically fullscreen. Certain menus require ADDITIONAL SCROLLING (like picking modulation source in Virtual Patch section). It's just horrible.

That's partly why I left all the Korg plugins behind. It seems their GUIs are all over the place. I love their hardware (got the Radias and Multi/Poly modules) and I wished they gave their software as much care.

As mentioned above, the opsix team is different from the team that did multi/poly, modwave, and wavestate. The opsix native plugin has more problems than the others.

Actually they do care about their plugins, I'd say more than Roland cares about theirs :)

That's a pretty low bar :)

I tried this and liked it well enough I guess, not going to pay $100 bucks for it likely though.

Don't underestimate the sequencer in this thing. It's tons of fun. Especially when you combine it with envelope triggers. And you can modulate the value of each step with anything you want, like an envelope or LFO, or even the output of other step sequencer lanes, or its own lane.

Personal choice, but I think $150 I spent was money well spent. Everyone likes different things.
$99 is a great price for one of the best VAs on the market.

I also can't easily decide buying this, because have some gforce synths, that produce similar sounds....

I have all the other KORG stuff, very probably I'll have this too at some point. Just not a high priority for me.

Which one or ones? I have almost all the gforce ones and the only one I still use is OB-E. Which sounds different. Just curious.

No slight to GForce, I own most of them, but multi/poly is really a completely different animal. There is no GForce synth with 4 oscillators, 2 filters, tons of modulation, two layers, etc. Multi/Poly is more like a modern Diva than any analog emulation.

I own most of Gforce, there is nothing even close to the multi/poly.
It's way moe than a VA. You can mix osc analog, wavetable, westcoast osc, a huge mod matrix with sequence where you can modulate every step.

How do you rate it against Dune 3? I recall it was one of your favs. I know it’s not a like for like exactly, but I swear between that and Repro/Diva most of what Multi-Poly offers is covered
