Been playing around with some new/new-to-me plugins lately, like LiquidSonics Cinematic Rooms/Seventh Heaven Pro, Acustica's Erin Studio & Oak, and some misc. stuff by McDSP, Melda, Tokyo Dawn, Fuse, etc. and enjoying all of them. Plugins have come a long way from even a few years ago.
But I was wondered what new brands and plugins other people think are going to change the game or become studio staples in the future?

The first one that comes to mind for me is Nuro Audio.
I bought Xvox Pro earlier this year and it's become a go-to in my workflow for vocals. Then, I found myself wanting a plugin specifically for reverbs and delays with some very specific features (e.g., flexible routing) and, lo and behold, they had just released Supernova, which was exactly what I wanted (and have used in every project since buying it). I don't know if I'd call these "game changers" or "studio staples" or whatever since they still seem to be somewhat unknown and rarely mentioned on music forums, but I'm pretty impressed with how great they sound, look, and function. Maybe a little on the pricier side, but they do have occasional sales and loyalty discounts.

Small but notable, I'd say. It's not often you see people step outside the box to bring us something out of the ordinary. Thanks for the link!pekbro wrote: Tue Sep 23, 2025 11:11 pm Pretty great new product line here:

Not 100% sure if these are 2025 or late 2024, but ADAPTR Utopia and Vertigo VSS-2 are exceptional. Also Visu.
IMO it's been a pretty uneventful year for plugins. Plus I'm so loaded with plugins acquired over the years that I never buy for need these days, just minor workflow improvements or novel FX units. Probably uninstalled more than I added this year.
