Valhalla Delay - understanding Ping Pong, no way to delay it to the right first?

hi guys,

so i chose Ping Pong and just noticed the delayed sound always happens first on the left side but i want the first delayed sound to the right side, what am i doing wrong?

If it is forced to the left side, you could always put a channel swap plugin after the delay to swap left/right channels, effectively forcing the first delay to the right.

thanks, is a ping pong delay always forced to the left one or only on Valhalla? wow pretty strange i never noticed!!!!

You simply shorten the delay time on either side to where you want it.

Your picture shows it's synced to host, and it's set at 1/8th notes, and the right is set to 1/16th notes. Also notice the knob is in different amounts too.

If you really want control, set the delay times manually.

And FYI ping pong refers to left right, or right left.
Almost all delays allow this.

Valhalla sounds great even when you’re “doing it wrong.” The density it allows—stacking everything on top of… wow.

I’d say Valhalla´s are the future of free plugins. They could completely change the market for paid reverbs market. Don’t think, feel and play.
