ReSing bridges the gap between idea and masterpiece. Any vocal track can become a professional-quality take in any style, mood, or genre, and it doesn’t need to be perfect to start. Users can even import a rough vocal recorded on a phone into their DAW, and ReSing works its magic.
Any vocal or instrumental track can also be replaced with an instrument from ReSing’s model browser, utilizing IK’s extensive experience in virtual instruments. The same controls used for vocal models are available to manage all aspects of the performance, including transposing.
Unlike other voice replacement software or services, ReSing is the first to enable users to create custom voice models locally on their computers, giving them complete control over input audio files and the final model, for personal use or to lease out for profit.

With the digital artifacts and how it sounds processed and un-natural, it might have use as an effect.

IDK if i'd use it for lead vocals, but if it can replace my backing vocals with singers that don't sound like me, that's all I'd need it for. I'm assuming there's no harmony generation?

Will it improve crap vocals is the question? If you can sing, why bother?

Something like this could be pretty cool for generating decent vocals from crappy sources. Maybe not quite there yet in terms of quality for using it as a lead vocal, but definitely good enough for backing vocals or for making samples.
I wonder if it needs a decent vocal performance though to work properly. If I could sing like a drunk Yoko Ono with a severe throat infection and make it sound good then I'd be impressed.

You can use the Character and other adjustments including tuning to improve vocals. If you can sing you can still model your own voice and change it either subtly with those same types of controls and effects, or use a completely different type of voice among the included models. You can also blend ndifferent voice models to create a unique hybrid.Cuauhtli wrote: Fri Sep 26, 2025 3:21 pm Will it improve crap vocals is the question? If you can sing, why bother?

Halloween? Just in time to NOT scare the children for once....
I'll record the music for a couple of songs in the meantime. Looking forward to checking it out... Hopefully Spanish will be available in the demo. French and Italian would be cool additions as well.

What if you can’t sing? Can you model your voice and make it sound like you can?Peter - IK Multimedia wrote: Fri Sep 26, 2025 4:43 pm If you can sing you can still model your own voice and change it either subtly with those same types of controls and effects
To me, this sounds like it could be useful for creating mockups and guide tracks. Maybe you’re writing and you want to hear how a vocal part sounds before committing to recording it, or maybe you’re away from your studio. Or perhaps you feel more comfortable singing to a guide track of your own voice that you can lock into.
That’s how I would want to use it. Will any of that that be possible?

Is it text to speech or do you have to sing first and add the Re-sing in after?Peter - IK Multimedia wrote: Fri Sep 26, 2025 4:43 pmYou can use the Character and other adjustments including tuning to improve vocals. This is *really* cool. Being able to model your own, and import other RVC models is outstanding.
Honestly, having a nice UI/UX to RVC capabilities is enough on its own, and then having any extra IK 'magic' sprinkled over the top is a bonus. Pre-ordered, and look forward to seeing how well it works alongside Synthesizer V as well.

We are working on other languages, I have relayed any suggestions I've heard including French and Italian to the team for sure.Cuauhtli wrote: Fri Sep 26, 2025 9:42 pm Halloween? Just in time to NOT scare the children for once....

You have the pitch tuning and effects but if a source vocal track has poor tuning to an extreme, the timing is way off, and similar, those won't be fixed. ReSing is more of a professional tool that does not replace the singer per se, it opens up a new way of producing in a professional environment. Definitely not looking to put real singers out of business entirely. Just like playing through your TONEX Tone Models/presets isn't going to make you a better guitar player but your tone won't be the problemjamcat wrote: Sat Sep 27, 2025 9:20 amWhat if you can’t sing? There is no text to speech at this time but I have relayed suggestions for it to the devs.D-Fusion wrote: Sat Sep 27, 2025 10:09 amIs it text to speech or do you have to sing first and add the Re-sing in after?Peter - IK Multimedia wrote: Fri Sep 26, 2025 4:43 pmYou can use the Character and other adjustments including tuning to improve vocals. Thank you for the kind words! It is a cool thing, a bit different for us and I'm excited for it too.koalaboy wrote: Sat Sep 27, 2025 10:17 am This is *really* cool. Being able to model your own, and import other RVC models is outstanding.

Speaking of TONEX, will there be a direct guitar instrument model in ReSing so we can transform a source track to DI electric guitar and then run it through TONEX or AmpliTube to create a guitar track with our own guitar tone?Peter - IK Multimedia wrote: Mon Sep 29, 2025 5:44 pmJust like playing through your TONEX Tone Models/presets isn't going to make you a better guitar player but your tone won't be the problem![]()
Since we’re apparently never getting MODO GUITAR.
