Hello Peter

Could IK fix this issue since T-RackS 6 has been release
Preset menu are way too small on Win 11, we can read that. Even with a 175% scale.

Edit - it should all be good now. Don't know what happened, but my apologies for that falling through the cracks even after I had bumped it the first time.
Thank you. I received an email from the Support Manager, sent yesterday. As per that email, my account was updated, manually I presume, to restore my missing modules, on the basis that they 'do not port over from T-Racks 3.' I can confirm these are now detected properly in Module Manager.

I'm guessing that's Reaper ? I've had an issue with a quite a few plugins running on 4k (with Windows' 200% scaling.)

To work around I've done the following in reaper:
Options -> Preferences -> General (top tab) -> Advanced UI/system tweaks (at bottom of General window) and then right at the bottom of that new window on the HiDPI Mode (Windows 7+) set to 'Unaware v5.32 -> 5.98x behaviour)

But it doesn't change anything
Same issue in Cubase, disable HiDPI make the menu bigger but blurry

All my Modules for T Racks 5 have ported over to the base model of T Racks 6 except one - Tape Echo. Modules Manager shows that I own it and is activated and can be loaded into T Racks 5. When I check the modules included in the base T Racks 6 version (19 modules) I notice that Tape Echo is not included - you need to have Pro or Max version. I have De-Esser, Lo-Fi Punch and Stealth Limiter and these are not included in base T Racks 6 version yet all ported over to T Racks 6 but not Tape Echo. Go figure.

What is actually happening with Tape Echo? Is it not loading as a standalone plugin?
It wont show in the TR6 Mastering console, none of the time-based effects will.

Tape Echo is not listed in the Modules List of T Racks 6 so I can't use it in the standalone version. However it is listed in the IK Modules Manager. The IK Modules Manager also lists CSR Hall and CSR Plate (both owned and enabled) but these also cannot be used in the standalone version. However I can use all of these modules in my DAW Cubase Pro 14 after loading T Rack 6 as a plugin insert.

It looks like lots of modules are unavailable in the standalone T-RackS 6 Mastering Console software. Anything reverb or delay-based is missing. My guess is it's because they're not "mastering" oriented processors, or they introduce latency, or both.

If by 'standalone version' you mean the Mastering Console, I already explained that. The Mastering Console will not use any of the time-based effects.

Mastering Console and the Module Manager are the only two 'standalones' Im seeing in my Windows Start menu, so if you mean something else, please say what that is.

And if the plugins work directly in a DAW, they're working...

Hi Peter. Maybe you can help me with this weird issue:

Recently I have purchased Stealth Limiter and that still only shows in the IK Product Manger as a T-Racks 5 license even though T-Racks 6 was out for a year already at the time of purchase.

Now, in participation of the Group Buy, some licenses I pick as my free plugins in the promotion section of my IK account also register in the IK Product Manager as T-RackS 5 licenses only (like CSR Room Reverb, Master EQ 432, Saturator X, Sunset Sound etc). Whilst the free plugins I pick that I am sure of only go released with T-RackS 6 do indeed get registered in IK Product manager as T-RackS 6 licenses.

I am not following license splitting here as all were acquired just in the last 2 weeks with T-RackS 6 being the current version..

It appears to me that someone carelessly messed up the Module List filter in the standalone. Compared to that of the standalone TR5 Suite, standalone T-RackS 6 Mastering Console added category "Harmonic" but dropped category "Reverb/Delay."

The T-RackS 6 plugin has Dynamics, Equalizers, Reverb, Delay, Harmonic, and Other from left to right across the GUI, so uses different code to display.

It doesn't make any sense to me to include Reverb and Delay in the plugin but not the standalone.

If I'm correct, this is not only a programming error, but sloppy beta-testing.

On Edit: I just submitted a problem report to IKM Tech Support.

Maybe they don't consider these effects to be useful in mastering. People can argue either way. The stand-alone app is called T-RackS 6 Mastering Console not T-RackS 6 Mixing Console.

What's confusing is that this was changed from version 5 to 6 (as alluded to in the post you quoted). There's been at least one person posting here who thought they were missing plugins as a result of this change. There's a new module manager that allows you to see what you own now, but if you upgraded from the previous version, it's not necessarily going to be obvious that you need to look there now to see what you own.

In T-Rack 5, there's the aforementioned Reverb/Delay category. If you've been using T-Racks 5 for years, I think it is reasonable to assume that T-Racks 6 would adopt the same paradigm. Whether or not it actually makes sense to include the delays and reverbs in the newly renamed "Mastering Console" is a different kettle of fish. But it seems more like change for the sake of change than anything else.

You are incorrect, this is not an error, its deliberate. As Ive said (twice now), the Mastering Console does not utilise the time-based effects.
