Reminds me of Virsyn Poseidon - different type of synthesis (wavetable rather than additive) but similar terrain based approach

Seriously looking forward to getting my hands on this.
Peter or anyone else who has had hands on - How is the CPU usage? If it's on par with the other Dawesome instruments I will be happy.

It uses slightly less CPU than other Dawesome synths.cake builder wrote: Tue Sep 30, 2025 6:00 pm Seriously looking forward to getting my hands on this.

That's a great selection of sound designers to choose from, and each one has a kind of signature vibe that they're known and respected for. So I have no doubt that the factory patches will showcase Kontrast's unique features and potential sounds in the best possible light.PetVor wrote: Tue Sep 30, 2025 10:24 am These are the sound artists who worked on the content for Kontrast:

I'm completely enamored with Peter's software, and I knew that if any developer could put a new twist on wavetable synthesis, it would be Dawesome. Needless to say, I'm genuinely looking forward to this release, and my opportunity to explore some new sonic horizons!!

I think Peter should stop this nonsense and make a Juno or Minimoog clone.morphex wrote: Tue Sep 30, 2025 7:42 pmThat's a great selection of sound designers to choose from, and each one has a kind of signature vibe that they're known and respected for. Seriously though. Huge fan of Dawesome. I own everything bar Chop Suey. (I just have too many kick drum synthesisers to justify it.)
But Myth, Abyss, Novum, Kult, Love and Hate get a lot of usage.
Endlessly inspiring stuff and I've every confidence that Kontrast will be the same.
