Listened a few times now - really enjoyed it...(As did my family wandering around in the background). 
The vibe's hard to pin down...some of those late 60s rock bands come to mind, but then so does...The Cure...The Cult...
It works so WGAF!
Stick with DOOM PROG! 
Music-wise - works as it is, but something here and there to vary the texture even more maybe? Backing vocals, strings, Rhodes, Hammond organ???
Mix - it's all very listenable, but maybe the vocals could be a little more upfront at times?
One more listen! Gonna play along this time!

I think that's a good idea to go back and add some more textures

Thank you for the review! Now your song: vocals remind me a bit of Iggy Pop (a compliment); nice occasional delay effects too. This song was not predictable: good! It all sounds quite good to me! Sounds like you spent a lot of time on it. Nice job!
