That is not happening here.. it stays on for the few tests I did yesterday.

Interesting, happens here, Mac VST3 in Reaper or Bitwig - turn OS on, select preset, OS gets turned off.

Hmmm, I just tried it on mac and it does switch off.. Swear when I did it on my pc yesterday it stayed on..

hey guys, will the new TRASH replace the old Trash.dll? or can it be installed side by side?

FWIW, the AU files are called iZTrash.bundle and iZTrashAUHook.component. My guess is the VST versions won't replace the old Trash.dll.

thanks, I read that the new Trash is kinda unique but i wanted to keep my old Trash side by side installed.

I just realized there's no Trash 3 VST version, only VST3, so you shouldn't need to worry about it overwriting your dll. Better back up just in case.

They work. What product did you try them on? Sometimes we need to turn off discounting for specific products.

I tried it on the iZotope Trash 3 Upgrade, but right now it would be cheaper to get the non upgrade Trash 3 at PB (I always look at JR Shop first as I'd rather support you, but there's a large enough price difference now).

Picked this up for $30 from PB. Great deal imo. I recently sold all my Arturia products which was good but I've missed having something diverse like Coldfire which sounded great but was more complex than I needed. Trash seems potentially deep with some very nice distortion algorithms without having much of a learning curve.

One question though, how do I initialise it?

Seems like automation is borked in Bitwig. Trying to automate the convolution XY pad but the parameter being selected when I touch the draggable point on the xy pad keeps switching to B3 Solo. Makes it very hard to assign a modulator to in Bitwig.

Sounds amazingly good but is horrendous to use.

I did manage to map these in a remote control panel quite some time ago - which still works

Should be called Trash 0 because they stripped it down from version 2.
Junk and still heavy on cpu and graphics are sluggish.
