Some arp madness. I've had Tone 2 Gladiator for years but only used it a few times and never really learned how to work it…so, I thought It was time to educate myself. In general I like it, the big drawback I see is it's modulation capabilities, especially compared to synths like PhasePlant and Serum. Still it's pretty cool.

Not everything here is Tone 2, but it's most of the bass sounds and some of the mid-range. The main arps are Serum 2.

I'm standing at a railroad crossing, and intermittently, a rhythmic
warning signal sounds. That's roughly what the beginning sounds
like. Then a few ravens fly by, adding their characteristic croaking.
The song becomes more complex, with all sorts of sounds coming
from almost all directions.

A unique track, very colorful and interesting. Well done! :tu:

Thanks enroe. I think there's a title for the song in there somewhere—Crossing Ravens; Ravens Crossing?

Updated the drop-ish part on this. Hopefully it's a little less congested.

I thought it sounded like a horseback ride, galloping away from a Transylvanian castle as the sun goes down. The arp patterns were definitely on the dark/disconcerting side of easy listening. It would certainly make a good piece of OST scoring.

Good work :)

Ha! Now all I hear is horses :)

Someone else mentioned this being good for OST. It's funny, I can't quite put my finger on what makes a song soundtrack vs. just a song. I make the same distinction often when I listen to other peoples music(sometimes it's obvious, but others…)—I don't know exactly what the quality is that makes the difference.
