I used too sometimes due to a client. It's pretty decent, but not my favorite choice, I mean it'S a dealbreaker for me that the "Track Regions is only available in Pro put me off. Also most of the stock and "premium" plugins it comes with are 32 bit, outdated and most of the times free or very cheap (which makes advertising them as features slightly odd). But to be fair: I actually liked the interface though

I did for a short while, quite neat stacking of VST instruments in one track, not needing many tracks.
- midi flows down the chain and nice ways to do this
- wish more daws implemented that
- was it v7 or something then

I liked using it, but it couldn't handle some of the project sizes I need to load.
I often need to load live multitrack recordings from shows, to chop down and mix. These can be up to 32 channels of audio, and 3 hours long. This means each audio file is upwards of 1GB. Multiply that by 32 tracks.
Mixcraft just couldn't handle that, and responded with lagging, stuttering and crashes. Reaper and Studio One don't bat an eye when loading these projects.

I like the interface and workflow, but it's Windows-only. I'm firmly Mac these days.

I find it stable and intuitive to use. Not as many features as, say, Cakewalk, but a higher percentage of them work. My only real qualm is no bus to bus routing except to the master.
