That's a Korg controller issue. I experience the same with my NanoKontrol.tonedef71 wrote: Sat Oct 04, 2025 9:59 pm One frustrating quibble I have with the integration between my Korg NanoKey 2 MIDI controller and Studio One, is that Studio One is only able to recognize the MIDI controller when it is already plugged in to my PC before Studio One starts up. If I plug the NanoKey 2 into my PC after Studio One is up and running, Studio One fails to detect the controller when attempting to scan for new MIDI devices.
My issue is different from yours in that the behavior of the MIDI controller is the same in all of the MIDI applications that I use it with -- not just Studio One. I believe the MIDI controller issue that I deal with has to do with the way Korg implemented the USB driver (which may be due to the way the MIDI controller hardware itself was implemented).

Is that a Korg issue, or a Windows issue? (Or something else?)
I'm pretty sure every single USB MIDI device I've ever used in Windows, Korg or otherwise, required you to have it started before starting up the DAW. And if you lose power to the USB device or turn it off, you have to restart the DAW to have USB MIDI working again.
I've mostly used Cubase, but I'm fairly sure it was this way in Studio One and Ableton Live as well. I vaguely recollect hearing that this was related to how Windows handled USB and it wasn't a problem with Mac, but I can't confirm that.

Are you using Mackie HUI controller?J Veronica wrote: Sat Oct 04, 2025 5:21 pm Anyone else had midi controller issues with S1?
Tried to get a Behringer X Touch Mini set up and the S1 Midi Learn can't see any buttons or switches, just the rotary encoders.
What annoys me is the midi monitor in S1 is definitely picking up everything.
In Reaper everything immediately worked and was assignable. With much deeper options for integration.
Is Midi controller integration in Studio One just shit?
I'm on v6 so maybe it's better in V7.

I tried setting it up as Mackie, HUI, generic control surface, and even midi controller and no luck with the buttons. Factory reset the X Touch Mini. Studio One MIDI monitor reads all the information fine but MIDI Learn isn't acknowledging it. Anybody else has the problem logging in to my presonus?
It gives below error:
Password did not conform with policy: Password must have uppercase characters
When I try to reset my PW, it says user did not found.

Appears that if you have both a Fender account AND a Presonus account - trouble is in the mix...

its almost like they are trying to merge the accounts to one website because one daw by x company is about to be called x daw by x other company.. just speculating wildly but seems fishy with the time of the 3rd update being around now to Christmas.Vocalpoint Studios wrote: Tue Oct 07, 2025 1:20 pm Appears that if you have both a Fender account AND a Presonus account - trouble is in the mix...

I tried to see if could reach my account but got the same problem.Serhii Kot wrote: Tue Oct 07, 2025 9:30 amEverything is ok on my side.Fornicras wrote: Tue Oct 07, 2025 9:14 am Anybody else has the problem logging in to my presonus?

- also the policy message
So thought, I go to "forgot pwd" to enter a new one
- but don't find an id with that name, or similar
- entered the last three emails I had for account
- usually that operation works, just entering a new pwd, since you forgot old!!!
Presonus is really messed up it seems.
- having script that check policy but not realize people made pwd before they started that policy
- and then not finding email address as an account????
- I had a ticket a year ago with that address given
You check written against what is stored!!!!!
- not having a script checking before sending form?
- what kind of rookie job is that...
Together with remarks of missing updates as promised in this thread they are not on top of things.
So people that happend to have too simple pwd before are not able to reach their purchased versions.
- I am one that have valid 4.x license if I would choose to install
EDIT: I tried with Edge instead, and instead of policy problem I came directly to change pwd. So Brave browser did not support something on page.

The message trying "forgot pwd" is not even relevant text, says something "not find ,,,,, combination" like there are two fields of something that should match.
Scripts not made for this system, it seems....

Well, no update 7.3 tonight. Either because they messed up the merger with the Fender accounts, or because they are unwilling or unable to keep their promises.

You mean their "targets".Crossinger wrote: Tue Oct 07, 2025 6:24 pmEither because they messed up the merger with the Fender accounts, or because they are unwilling or unable to keep their promises.
No "promises" were ever made about anything.
