Resonators 2025

Been getting into Resonators lately, curious which others folks enjoy.
I'm on Windows.
I like:
Rhizomatic Synestia
Polyverse SuperModal
Rast Sound Transformer (though this one crashes quite a bit, about to abandon it. Again.)
Others I've tried:
Tritik Moodal. It has a lot of options but I kind of get annoyed with its sound. And it is really slow to open.
Kilohearts Resonator. It's ok. It's just a simple little resonator, not any options.
Xynth Rezonator. Didn't much get into the sound of this one.
LMDSP Superchord. Didn't do much for me either.
Any others I should try?
Edit: Kinda want to keep a list here, might help some folks, myself included.
Rhizomatic Synestia
Polyverse SuperModal
FKFX Influx Pro
Unfiltered Audio Byome
Minimal Audio Rift
Scaler EQ
FilterOrgan
Discrete Signals Sculpture
Carp Audio Resonote
GRM Tools Resonator
Tritik Moodal
Kilohearts Resonator
Xynth Rezonator
LMDSP SuperChord
Eventide Temperance Lite?

Both Synestia and Supermodal are really cool. I've also been using Influx Pro from FKFX Audio https://fkfxaudio.com/influx-pro/ Their Flux Resonator is very powerful. You can set and easily change your root note, as well as ultra-precise lfo-curves in the LFOGRID. The onboard tube distortion and multiple waveshapers can also add all kinds of sonic spices to the signal. It's a great creative effect from a company that seems to be flying just below people's radar.

Influx Pro looks nifty, via the video on the site:
I like Synestia a lot, using it every few weeks, give or take--but maybe Black Friday sways me to get another one..

Thanks for the tip on Influx Pro. The straightforward sound of it is ok but obviously it is the creative pattern playground aspect that makes it a good possible addition alongside Synestia and SuperModal.

Sculpture by Discreet Signals has, amongst various spectral dynamic and time tools, an interesting resonator module that can be set to just target signal above a threshold. Doesn’t work that great on my Win 10 machine, but might be due to my decrepit pc rather than the software itself.
Bedroomproducers has code BPB50 for 50%, but I’d definitely demo it to see how it works on your system.

Oh yes, the spectral resonator in discreetsignals Sculpture is quite lovely. The dynamics tools could be useful as a spectral balancer / resonant suppressor with the side-chain potential..
It is a bit of a CPU guzzler at higher window sizes though, my M3pro just stutters at a window size of 32,768 even with max latency. Would love a 2 second window..

Rift has a section of Resonators. They are in key format on the preset list.

Had not played with the Feedback and Filter parts of Rift that will tune to keys, this is really coolosiris wrote: Wed Oct 08, 2025 12:14 pm Rift has a section of Resonators. They are in key format on the preset list.

I'm trying to remember the name of the resonator/comb-filter/pitch-mapper I tried the demo of a year or so ago - I remember it being kind of similar to Zynaptiq Colours. I believe the preview video was adding a drum kit and tuning the kick etc. so it musically matched the track
Just found it: CARP Audio - Resonote ( https://carpaudio.com/products/resonote )

Like the sound of it but control is a bit tedious. And if I want to put it into a scale, that's just too much work.shonky wrote: Wed Oct 08, 2025 9:37 am Sculpture by Discreet Signals has, amongst various spectral dynamic and time tools, an interesting resonator module that can be set to just target signal above a threshold. But the resonators do sound really good. Wish it had some sort of scale lock. The one I played with in Rift is really cool.
Edit: Sculpture's latency is also pretty high

That does look good. I’m definitely going to pick it up.Dirtgrain wrote: Tue Oct 07, 2025 11:56 pm Influx Pro looks nifty, via the video on the site:

Actually have Kaleidoscope license but my recollection is every time I tried to use it, it froze, fell apart, crashed, etc. Haven't reinstalled any 2Caudio since support went away
