Hello everyone, I'm excited to announce my metronome WatchOS app has been released for TestFlight!

If you have an apple watch and would like to participate,
here's invitation link: https://testflight.apple.com/join/KbBCFaSe

I would appreciate testers to answer these questions:
  • Verify the metronome starts, by tapping the orange circle in the main view
  • Verify the metronome continues to run, when your wrist is lowered
  • Verify the metronome stops by tapping the orange circle after it has started or closing the app
  • Verify the settings page change properties of the app by swiping to the right of the BPM view and interacting with the settings of the different categories
I would love to hear additional feedback:
  • what you like
  • what you don't like
  • what should be added

Thank you :phones:

The timing is not rock solid. When flicking around in the interface, it has to get caught up to deal with the interrupts. When I turn my arm, it again has to get caught up with the interrupts of movement. I don't see a way to make it run with just vibration, and not the beep. Otherwise good first step.

Thank you!

To disable sounds, put your watch into "Silent Mode": https://support.apple.com/en-us/108368# ... le%20Watch
I'm working on a solution to this.

Can you tell me about your setup:
  • Which apple watch do you have?
  • What OS is your watch running?

Still not rock solid on the time. If I wave my hand/arm for whatever reason, the timing goes off.
5/4 is not even generically steady, even if I hold my hand still.
The only time it’s steady is if I don’t move my hand at all, and the watch face is up, regardless of time signature.

I'm working on a fix for the timing un-steadiness. I'll report back when I have a new version for testing.

Thank you for trying the new version.

I don't have a physical Ultra 2 to re-create your setup. But when I run the app on my series 9 and wave my hand I notice the haptics are harder to notice.

Thank you for pointing this out, I'll see what I can do to improve this.
