They're pretty good. Most are not quite typical to the vanilla standard so often can be an interesting option.

Sound is pretty good, but definitely there could be improvements (or new modes for things like Runciter, the filter/distribution thing)

Improved interfaces and naming will be great. The old naming is ok, but like what is Uhbik-A?

I really love U-HE.. but what's unique to this one? Honestly at this moment so many alternatives.... I am sure that quality of this one is sweet btw.. and its just IMHO.

runciter is a beast, so gnarly and wild.

* New modulation system (mod matrix, LFO, envelope follower, mod mapper)
* Scope for visualizing audio and modulation signals
* Ambience: added early and late reflection panning
* Ambience: new "Natural" mode
* EQ: master gain changed from +/- 12 dB to +/- 24 dB
* Grainshift: improved performance in phase vocoder mode
* Phaser: mix parameter can invert phase
* Phaser: more operation modes (classic 4, 6, and 12 stages)
* Filters in all Uhbiks are now SVF
* Runciter: more filter modes
* Runciter: added cutoff panning
Thanks for the list. Some interesting things in there.

Wish there were some 'improved algorithms for' lines in there though. Many good uhe fx since v1 came out, so there must be things that could drop into these.

Yeah it's really good, would love a proper v2 of this with some of the filter knowledge uhe have garnered since then.

Maybe nothing super unique per se, but it can be a different approach from other plugins. Keep in mind the originals are now 10 many years old and for any given plugin there's often some specific plugin that might do more or better, though there may not have been at the time.

I actually like Uhbik-Q quite a lot because it just has a nice vibe, and the lack of display or Hz value labels means I have to use it by ear. So it's a good partner for more surgical/technical EQ plugins. (I hope that the changes for 2.0 don't mess this up for me.)

The flanger and phaser are good and the tremolo is fun.

I'm not a fan of the delay, but the reverb -- when I remember it exists :oops: -- can be a nice choice.

Runciter is an absolute beast and is my favorite among them hands down.

Just had a check and they're even older than I thought: v1.0 came out on June 1st 2009 !

So a lot of DSP has been upgraded, particularly to sound great with modulation.

The EQ now has a Hz readout.

The Envelope can loop, so you have another LFO there, if you need it.

And so much more stuff… way improved surround… loads if improved things…

Will there be a series of nice videos outlining the new features?

I'm just arriving back from short workation, I don't know what the state is, but certainly we'll showcase how the modulations interact, and what some of the best applications are.

Surround motions controlled via the mod matrix is certainly a thing! :)
