They both still work here, tho I can't remember the last time I used them.cryophonik wrote: Fri Oct 10, 2025 11:22 pm I'll add CamelSpace and CamelPhat as two effects that I'd love to have back in my arsenal.

Resurrect Linplug as a developer, not just one or two plugins.

What a fond trip this is, recalling some of the really great plug-ins through the years..Linplug Delta III; Xphraze and NI Spectral Delay; wow, I really miss those early years of vst; and kvr-vst!

A BIG YES. It was like having Live's session view as a plugin. I remember he was interested in working with Jorgan to have it implemented into EnergyXT which would have been f**king awesome.mcnelson wrote: Sat Oct 11, 2025 8:06 am Was always quite partial to using Liveslice; was super fun. Would love to see a contemporary version.

Ruction. The drum machine from the early days of VSTs. Loved it and used it until I moved to Mac.

I'd love to be able to update some of my SynthEdit plugins to 64 bit but I'd used way too many 3rd party modules that were never updated for 64 bit so I'd have had too mostly rebuild them from scratch, which I lost the appetite for a long time ago. Specifically, I'd like to get the last batch I made, the three Nitrous synths, which we used heavily on a couple of albums. They still work in Orion and I've listened to a few things lately and they still sound pretty good. The UIs would definitely need to be bigger but I have all the original vector files so that wouldn't be a problem. I'll never get around to it, though, and we've well and truly moved on from that era.
I also really miss Wasp 5 from our Orion days. Despite Rich's assurances that DUNE should be able to replicate its sound very precisely, I've never got it to do it quite as well as Wasp could, and certainly not as effortlessly.

No one is doing a reed modeler without samples yet. Was always hoping their unrealized update would include double reed emulations as well.
(Although AAS Multiphonics CV-3 does pretty good.)
