The above two posts AND give us a complete rundown of your machine.
I can almost guaranteed that if Windows 11 is in this mix - that alone can (and usually is) responisble for all the trouble.

I do not think that "if Win11 is in this mix that alone.." - as seen many win11 machines performing perfectly with audio systems too. It CAN be, but I would not say "this OS is the culprit" when it works for 99% of people.

Windows 11 (and it's poor written Thread Director) almost always needs a Core Parking tweak or two to get it to behave.legendCNCD wrote: Wed Oct 08, 2025 12:17 pm I do not think that "if Win11 is in this mix that alone.." - as seen many win11 machines performing perfectly with audio systems too. Anyone who doesn't do this - is either uniquely lucky or cannot hear the glitches.
LatencyMon will tell the true story - it always does.
But until the OP updates us - who knows what is going on.

For best results (and to assist in our possible troubleshooting):carrieres wrote: Wed Oct 08, 2025 1:24 pmdoes LatencyMon will indicate that I needs a Core Parking tweak ?
1. Download LatencyMon
2. Reboot your machine and ensure nothing is running but the OS
3. Fire up LatencyMon and let it run for 5 minutes standalone - do not do anything while it is running
4. After 5 - stop the app and you will get a readout (and some basic messaging) about whether your machine can running audio without a hassle. You will also see a bar graph of what it found. This graph will list various *.dll libraries and files - with various lengths of latency. The longer the bar - the more chance of problems.
VERY IMPORTANT: The files highlighted are not culprits or the cause of your specific problem. They are random examples of how long your machine is taking to do whatever these files need to do.
Bottom line - In the bar graph - red is bad. Green is good.
Post up your graph for us when you are done. If you have constant glitches - I am almost certain your readout will have a bunch fo red on it.
Update when you can.

No core parking or such has been needed on AMD CPU's afair, is it Intel only thing?

The intel 12-15th gen has aggressive Core parking in windows 11 by default so before i migrated to AMD a few weeks ago i always used a program called Cpu unpark after a fresh windows installlegendCNCD wrote: Thu Oct 09, 2025 10:07 am No core parking or such has been needed on AMD CPU's afair, is it Intel only thing?
I used it after building my new PC incase Windows 11 does it on AMD too.

They don't say if they are using Mac or Windows version, and what computer, audio interface or if they use outboard gear.
Too many variables.

The first post from the OP references this:MJACau wrote: Fri Oct 10, 2025 10:33 pm They don't say if they are using Mac or Windows version, and what computer, audio interface or if they use outboard gear.Too many variables.
"I'm producing professional with very good pc systems"
Pretty sure this is Windows 11 straight up.

I did when I first installed Windows 11 23H2 in Jan 2024 - with my tried and true RME UCX-II - it was click city for the first time in 15 years.
Took me about a week to figure out what was wrong and in the end - I just rolled back to Windows 10 - which does not suffer from this issue.
And yes - to answer your ongoing AMD question - have not seen ANY referenances to this issue occurring with an AMD chip - completely different ball game.
But if you are on any Intel CPU from the last 2-3 years - there is a very high likely hood that you WILL have pops, clicks and glitches. This is a widely known condition - and easily fixed by addressing power settings and espeically core parking.

I had an AMD tower PC and it did not like Windows 11. Would not update. My Intel laptop had no issues.

Yes i did and that is the reason why i found that little program after getting stuttering in games and garbly playback in my daw and i discovered that my Intel Pc's had heavy core parking in windows and it was running smooth after i disabled core parking with the app.legendCNCD wrote: Sat Oct 11, 2025 12:30 pmHave you tried running without it?D-Fusion wrote: Thu Oct 09, 2025 10:52 ama program called Cpu unpark after a fresh windows installlegendCNCD wrote: Thu Oct 09, 2025 10:07 am No core parking or such has been needed on AMD CPU's afair, is it Intel only thing?

My AMD system is a few weeks old and i didn't check if that one had the same aggressive core parking enabled after i did a fresh install of windows so i just disabled core parking straight away after i installed windows since i have gotten used to do it with my Intel Pc's.
Latest windows 11 updates are known for having extreme power saving features enabled.
I also always disable SMV in AMD Systems and any virtualization features in the Intel bios on all my PC's since it Removes the Core isolation feature in windows security that is also known for hurting performance.

I didn't do any coreparking and LatencyMoon liked the system. The only thing I did on my AMD laptop is putting minimum CPU load to 100%. But I remember I totally screwed up my system with all those coreparking software.
