One plugin I used to use all time happens to rhyme with “Music-station”. I moved on after getting too much spam from the developer. It was pretty cool with the first few versions, and years later they were banned on KVR.
Is there something similar and still developed these days?

an updated version of FXpansion DR-008 would be great
i still use it with jbridger and i love the dirty drum sounds it makes
i have Tremor and that's great, but i prefer the harshness of the DR-008 synthesis

Yes, Spectral for sure! Otherwise, I think we have everything we ever need with the modern plugins.Korg Supporter wrote: Fri Oct 10, 2025 9:25 am I am torn between Linplug Spectral and PPG WaveGenerator

Is it forbidden to even speak the name of the plugin now? But yeah I agree it was (or is I suppose as it's still being sold) a great synth especially in the earlier versions and then the wheels came off. Version X is on sale for $9.95 now but then when is it not?Examigan wrote: Sun Oct 12, 2025 2:52 pm One plugin I used to use all time happens to rhyme with “Music-station”. I haven't found anything in all those years that can duplicate it but I'm think of giving wavesequencing a go in Nexus 5 since it has almost unlimited sample Oscs and layers. The trick will be finding a way to cross fade between the samples for smooth transitions.
Maybe the question "developers you'd like to see resurrected" would be a logical extension to this thread.
Linplug has been mentioned but I think he's out of the game for good. I'd add Admiral Quality and his PolyAna synth along with the developer which shall not be named. Maybe Dmitry Sches and his Diversion synth as well although I'm not sure if it's still being sold.
