I received an email today announcing PA has a newly designed website. So I went to check it out and in my account the Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor (non red version) is missing and quite possibly others as well. I own a ton of PA plugins some of which I no longer install so I'd have to go through my DAWs plugin database to see if any others are missing.

I'd advise everyone to go check as well to see if you're missing anything.

I went through the support bot and after asking the same question over and over "what's the problem?" The SSH Comp is missing from my account. "Can you describe the problem?". The SSH Comp is missing from my account....and so on, it finally opened a support ticket so we'll see how that goes.

I literally have the SHC up and running on my Main DAW system as we speak. Now I've got to dig through years of receipts to see if I can find the one for it.

I wish companies would stop messing with stuff and if they can't do that then at least stop messing stuff up........ :bang:

EDIT: Oh boy the acknowledgment of the support ticket email shows it's coming from Native Instruments.....this should be interesting.

Sigh. As soon as I saw that the site had been updated I was worried about something like that happening.

I haven't yet had a chance to go through my account to make sure everything's there (and like you, I've got a ton of PA plugs) but I'm gonna do so ASAP.

Thanks for the heads up and good luck getting somewhere with support.

Did PA support ask you to record the screen to show them what are you doing there exactly? :hihi: Those PA support folks are the most stupid in the industry. They don't know anything about music and plugins. The second place takes Arthuria support.

Here's what I'm missing now:

Black Box Analog Designs HG-2
bx_console Focusrite SC
bx_masterdesk
Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor

:x

Update: I logged into the PA-InstallationManager and all of my owned plugins are showing there. So it's only the website that isn't properly detecting those plugins.

As well as the Shadow Hills, the Focusrite channel strip isn't showing either for me, both still work in the DAW though and they both show in "my products" in the installation manager so I guess it's just a bug with the website

Oh boy....sounds like this is going to be a shyte show.

I'm also missing the Black Box Analog Designs HG-2 but do have the bx_console Focusrite SC and bx_masterdesk both Classic and True Peak showing.

I have a working theory that the Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor, Black Box Analog Designs HG-2 and perhaps others have been discontinued in favor of newer versions of those plugins.

That does happen, plugins get discontinued when an upgraded version is released but you can't just take plugins away from paying cust.....Oh wait Native Instruments is in charge now so of course they can just take a plugin you paid for away from you. :dog:

Like I said it's just a theory so far and since I haven't had a response to my support ticket (and quite frankly don't expect one for quite some time if at all) I can't confirm or deny.

I'm not sure if those plugins can still be installed with the plugin manager but the fact that they don't show in our accounts is not a good sign. All the ones I'm missing so far still work on the system where they are installed but who knows what the future holds for them.

What I'm really not liking is this:

When you search the page now, a parade of these automatically pop-up that you have to wade through and close one at a time. Every time you search. :x :x

Also, products aren't listed by their full names. ADA Flanger is just "Flanger". Unfiltered Audio Fault is just "Fault."

In my account there are numerous bundles shown:
All Bundle - Pay 1x
BX plugins for Music Production Suite
Intro Bundle (BX, NI & IZO!)
Komplete 14/15 Ultimate PA Bundle

I think you have some of them as well in your account.
These bundles may contain your missing items.

If so, then there's no reason to hyperventilate.

Doctor House recommends Pop-Up Blockers.

They're built into the webpage, not separate windows. I don't think they can be blocked.

Can't even log into my account. "Too many attempts" apparently, even though the message appeared the first time I tried to log in.

Edit: managed to get in, all my licenses are there.

How hard is it for them to port over a database without messing it up? Seems like it would port over altogether or not at all.

We'll see if they get the website corrected or what happens with those missing plugins going forward. I'll let you know when (if) I get a response from support. I imagine they're getting slammed right now if this is a wide spread problem.

To be honest if they gave me a $15 price to upgrade to the Shadow Hills Red version I'd do it just for the re-sizeable GUI which the original does not have (despite being "updated" recently to include Usage Data Tracking, another gift from Native Instruments).

Yeah, the "Soundwide Welcome Bundle" is listed as a product. Here is what it contains:

Black Box Analog Design HG-2
Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor
Ampeg SVT-VR
Brainworx bx_masterdesk
bx_oberhausen
bx_console Focusrite SC

So that's where the missing plugins went.

But I already owned several of these before the welcome bundle. Focusrite SC in particular, I bought years ago. With money. And yet it isn't listed as a product I own outside of the Welcome Bundle. And of course the Welcome Bundle doesn't list what's included in that list. I had to google it to find out.

But Ampeg SVT-VR is listed separately.

Why would the "Soundwide Welcome Bundle" contain different products for different users? My Focusrite SC shows as a separate product.

I've never even heard of Soundwide let alone their "welcome bundle". All my purchases have been directly from Plugin Alliance.

So they're conflating licenses purchased separately into random bundles for each user? Without letting anyone know and without listing what's in those bundles? That's going to go well.....
