I bought the JT-4000 and it is easy to program but it only lasted for 30.Minutes before it went in my drawer.

The Awful filter envelope and that it looses volume when you play more than one note at a time at high velocity made me hate that little thing.

I can get the same sound in my vst's with more Polyphony and options that has a useable Filter envelope so it was wasted money to me.

Wanted to get the Pro Mini but i am afraid that it might have similar issues to the JT-4000 and i have a feeling that it will sound to similar to the Arturia Pro VS.

Not a Fan when it comes to their Micro, Mini and Producer serie products at all no matter the price and will wait in hope that they will make bigger ones that are actually useable.

I like the synth Module format they started it all with and their Keyboard synths but the others are just a waste of money to me.

Damn it B, we don’t need another Volca series.

Interesting. I hate the JT-Mini in paraphonic mode and love it in mono. Maybe it's a similar phenomenon.

Are you referring to the promised micro version of the Model D? I actually have pretty high hopes for that one.

No. The Pro mini is the prophet vs clone :)
I have been tempted after they released firmware v2 for it that gave it 5 voices instead of 4 but i have a feeling that Arturias Pro VS v is a much better option for those sounds just like i find the jup 8000v to be a better option than my JT-4000.

The JT-4000 would have been more useful to me if they added a mono mode since it works better as a mono synth.

It’ll be funny when they finally release the micro Model D and it has a horrible paraphonic mode.

I wish the mini cz1 didn't have the pointless filter/chorus, and had 8 note poly instead, but even at 3 voice, I'm still interested ( for leads and basslines)

Hopefully they might release the CZ osc as a module, like they did with the Victor

Why not just get a real CZ-101 in that case?

FWIW, some CZ's had analog chorus.

I had a CZ3000. Monster thing, glad to get rid of it.

If you can find me a CZ101 at that price, I'd prob take it. ( but I would prefer just the osc as a module)

I'm just baffled as to why they keep throwing in the crappy ladder filter, must have bought a job lot of chips :hihi:

Agreed. Not that I dislike ladder filters, but that I think that 8 voices would have been the better cost tradeoff. That said, I also agree that I just want the voice in a module, and also.

Damn it B, we don't want more volcas FFS!
