didn´t happen to me, maybe site glitch that got resolved?

Anyway, only did a very quick and rough test but CPU seems to be quite higher than with previous versions ... will have to check on my studio computer later today. sound didn´t really seemed that different, but again, will need to further test.

Does anyone know if there's an end date to the upgrade offer?
I try to get it as close to the end of that offer as I can because they give you any model they may add in a year from that date.

But this is an upgrade I can jump on otherwise without any reservations of doing so. I use this almost daily in practice, performance and production. Really want to check out the improvements to the Electric Pianos (MKII).

yeah, i also use PTQ on a daily basis, because nothing in the software world can compare in terms of playability and response and i´ve come to mostly ignore its shortcomings. it really is a remarkable piece of research and coding, pus it´s a lot of fun.
but most of the times i use it with my stage Piano using a very old macbook that was almost maxed out with version 8 when used along ireal B (which i use a lot to practice), i guess it won´t be able to handle PTQ9.

That’s not how it works. Version updates do not restart the clock. Perhaps upgrading from (for example) Stage to Pro might (I don’t know, I started with Studio), but upgrading from 8 to 9 does not, as I’ve had to buy the instruments even within a year of updating.

Thanks, all sorted now - it was because I used a custom voucher.

Did you buy Pianoteq recently? I forgot what the time limit is but they'll upgrade you for free if you bought it within the last x months.
