https://www.uvi.net/falcon#whats-new
Falcon 2026 introduces powerful tools including new oscillators, new effects, new modulators, a refreshed factory library showcasing these features through 100 exclusive presets, all integrated into an improved interface with improved knobs, wording, fonts, and spacing for a smoother, more intuitive experience.
New Oscillators
Phase Shaper - Bend your tone, shape your phase
SupraSaw - The supersonic saw
8o8 Bass Drum - Pure punch, classic thump, no samples
Grains - Break sound apart, rebuild the unexpected
New Effects
Bloom Reverb - Reverb that breathes
Tube Amp - Heat, grit, soul, tube tone
Vowels filter - Make your synth speak
New Modulations
Voice Modulator - Polyphonic modulation
Flow Noise - Controlled noise, smoother shifts
New Event
Chord Generator - Creative chords
Quite impressive given that the last update was pretty much just a browser update from what I remember

The new chord generator adds some lovely features from Mosaiq, along with the new grains osc and bloom reverb - really nice update for free! Cheers UVI.

Very exciting all around - wish we were getting FM / audio rate interaction between generators though!

Banger of an update, and it's still free! So damn happy I bought into the synth on a deep sale ages ago, paid dividends.

Damn, another free Falcon update. Life is good.

To clarify, this is a feature for which I would pay for the upgrade !!

And 10 years ago on October 26 Falcon landed for the first time as the evolution of MachFive.

One of the greatest things about Falcon have been the ability to flip any factory patches existing sample engine to granular on the fly. The batch editing doesn't seem to work with the new grains one? You can hear it switches, but the interface for grains doesn't show up. :(

I really appreciate UVI doing a free update. Arturia and UVI are really hitting it out of the park. Native Instruments on the other hand lost me years ago. Boo.
My only gripe with Falcon is the lack of presets especially free user made presets. Probably why Pigments is still my go-to. I

Can we now, in that "2026" update, create an adsr filter easily (my personal priority)?

Let's say some mildly drunk Scandinavian guy approaches you in a bar, and asks: "Mate, I already have the NI and Arturia instrument collections. What would UVI Falcon give me that I don't already possess? Hic!"

Thanks for free update.

But, it is just for me that it hangs DAW after unload plug ?
In Studio One 6, and Ableton 12 the same.

Win10 \ VST2

If anything:
Compatibility
Falcon runs standalone or as VST, VST3, AU, and AAX on Windows 10/11 and macOS 10.14–15, optimized for all major DAWs on Intel and ARM.
BUT, i did not update\download factory library yet, may be because that ? (Meanwhile - not sure if library renewed \ need to be download ? Looks like the same rev2 ? in user acc at least)

Upd: Did check Organ module issue - now fixed, thanks.

It's a consolidated workstation approach that only gets matched by Omnisphere and it's arguable that the tweak ability in Falcon is deeper. In terms of samplers, it has MPE which Kontakt doesn't have, it's FX are better sounding out of the box than Kontakts, and it's 3.5X cheaper than Omnisphere currently. Arturia mainly do emulations of classic synths, but Falcon is also much deeper than Pigments. In terms of automation once you get the system it's super easy to set up. Falcon is a go to for pretty much anything. I've owned it since MachFive 3 became depreciated, and it's great what UVI did with the MOTU collaboration by turning it into Falcon, even though I'm a Digital Performer user etc.

Man! That's very concise and informative. Thank you and cheers!

As a long-time Falcon user, I hope they will implement a UI overhaul at some point to make it more appealing overall.
