I haven't had time to sit down and watch the walkthroughs properly yet, but I noticed this has an effect rack section. So is it possible to use this plugin as a multi effect and bypass the whole vocal section? Anyone done that, opinions?

Not confirmed, but I would assume so. Rack has a stripped down version of Current's rack, if you're familiar with that - delay, reverb, compressor/OTT, distortion, chorus, filter, maybe a couple of others. Very usable.m-ac wrote: Sun Oct 12, 2025 8:48 am I haven't had time to sit down and watch the walkthroughs properly yet, but I noticed this has an effect rack section. On the Mac, if you right click the Mode button you get an option to lock it.

Not that I can think of.m-ac wrote: Sun Oct 12, 2025 8:48 am I haven't had time to sit down and watch the walkthroughs properly yet, but I noticed this has an effect rack section. So is it possible to use this plugin as a multi effect and bypass the whole vocal section? Anyone done that, opinions?
In pitch track mode it tracks the pitch and applies the vocal resynthesis.
In Midi track mode it ignores the internal pitch tracking and uses an external mono midi track for pitching. This applies the vocal resynthesis paramters.
In Midi Instrument mode it again ignores internal pitch tracking and uses polyphonic midi input. This also uses the vocal resynthesis.
In external mode it uses a sidechain for the carrier and the signal of the track the plugin is inserted on as the modulator. This ignores the vocal resynthesis but you can use effects and the formants etc.

Thats a shame, but I guess it makes sense, as a business approach at least.kraster wrote: Sun Oct 12, 2025 5:48 pmNot that I can think of.m-ac wrote: Sun Oct 12, 2025 8:48 am I haven't had time to sit down and watch the walkthroughs properly yet, but I noticed this has an effect rack section. Jake - any chance you guys will release a multi effect at some point, similar to soundtoys do with their effect rack?

Unfortunately it takes some time to develop this functionality and it need will apply across all of the product line at once & on the web pages.kritikon wrote: Wed Oct 15, 2025 3:59 am I checked back on the site - can't see a demo anywhere, or am I missing something?

Will the intro price stay until the "easy demo option" has been implemented?jakepenn_ wrote: Wed Oct 15, 2025 4:59 amUnfortunately it takes some time to develop this functionality and it need will apply across all of the product line at once & on the web pages.kritikon wrote: Wed Oct 15, 2025 3:59 am I checked back on the site - can't see a demo anywhere, or am I missing something?

Excited to get around to buying this one, I've got all their other plugins and Wave Shifter is possibly my favourite plugin of all time. I use it for intense FM FX. Sidechain input as FM modulator is so wild. Would be cool to see what adding this into the mix can do for more melodic destruction. Big fan of MA.

Same. What's so impressive about MA is that given all the plugins they've released, not one of them has ever made me think "well this one kinda sucks". Everything in their portfolio is useful, has a great UI and aesthetic, nice visual feedback, and sounds excellent.mirDR wrote: Fri Oct 17, 2025 11:34 pm Excited to get around to buying this one, I've got all their other plugins and Wave Shifter is possibly my favourite plugin of all time. Heck I even use Squash from time to time.

I've never been wild about the reverb, personally. It's just okay.billinder33 wrote: Sat Oct 18, 2025 9:01 pmSame. I felt the same way about the reverb (in fact, I was a bit more negative on it) until I got Current and saw how well it worked with the sounds coming out of the synth, and how much it added to the sound design.kraster wrote: Sun Oct 19, 2025 12:06 pmI've never been wild about the reverb, personally. I think looking at it as a regular reverb with regular reverb uses is a mistake. It really can add a lot to synth sounds if you use it the right way, but the way the reverb sounds just doesn't work well with a lot of standard reverb use cases.
