I see the Expression slider, what about the Volume and Pan sliders, how do you get them to show up?
I don't use the RC sound fonts rather I use General Midi and funnel the midi notes out to NI-Bandstand through a software midi port wrapper.
I know the RC does not support older Vst2 software.
How do you add the Midi: Expression, Volume & Pan Control to the Track View on the left?

RC should support older VST2 plug-ins, as long as they are 64-bit.
When you add Volume or Pan MIDI CCs to a track in the Track Inspector, you can decide if the added CC is a single value or an envelope, and if you want to display it by highlighting the 'eye' button:

Please note: the 'Expression' slider you see is from the 'Expression' variation that is always added to tracks to allow you to directly change velocity values. Of course, you can add the Expression MIDI CC too, that would be a green slider.
