Half of those that voted for alchemy did so just to fit in with the "popular" crowd. What else is new in KVR land.
I'll take SQ8L over all of Camel Audio.

I still have it installed here, but am using newer synths lately. I wouldn't mind seeing a revamped version of it. :)

I am using newer synths lately too. However, I think that with a few additions this would see a lot more use.
Even if the piano player can't play, keep the party going.

It's funny you say that. I was thinking exactly the same thing the other day.

Logic is not free, no. But very affordable considering what you get and free updates etc.

Has it ever been free? Maybe he is thinking of Garageband.
How original

Yeah that must be it. Garageband is a part of the MacOS software package.

When was the last update for that one? I have v3 and 4.
My installed version of v4 is 4.3.1
I believe I run the same.. It works like a charm but the issue as with most non/seldom updated VST:s it is the user interface that is too small.. Knowing a bit about these things I believe it is a hefty task to give a scalable UI to an instrument as dependent on a fixed UI size.
I would be happy even with a basic solution such as making everything 2x curent size by simple scaling.

I use v.4 still. Got the DVD and all. Works like a charm, and is resource friendly unlike its modern counterpart.

I'd like to be able to use NI Intakt. It was a really good looper/slicer thing that I guess NI just threw in the garbage.
