Before it goes public though I need to make a "Do I really need a PhD for this?"-meme. One that I can post in every thread where people complain that they need to actually spend some time before, you know, the hits pop out...

I definitely can't speak for everyone but the "needing to work on it and learn in order to get results" thing us exciting and not a drawback
I understand we've got folks out here who want to just surf presets and go; there are plenty of synths to do that in and Zebra seems like it'll have a great browser so they should be fine
I'm excited to dig into the modules and make lots of weird sounds while I learn (which is what ive been doing this whole time in Zebralette)

I am mainly a preset user and occasionally dabble deeper. I appreciate great presets at the outset. I am going to get a Zebra 3 version of Esoteric Garden like Mr. Scarr promised me a couple of years back, right?

Will Zebra 3 have a vintage ADSR for legato patches like DIVA and other mono synths? idk how it's called but the attack picks up from the last release point, so the envelope never starts from 0 volume unless you let it decay completely.

(it's not a parameter of the envelopes though, it's a setting in the voice management)

Are you seriously releasing a product in 2025 that doesn't have an AI prompt? I was expecting to become a serious sound designer by generating Super Awesome Super Saw Bass Pad Dub Arp, and so on.Urs wrote: Wed Oct 22, 2025 3:13 pm Before it goes public though I need to make a "Do I really need a PhD for this?"-meme. We’re probably mostly gonna use AI to create some memes. We have AI based tools, but d’oh, if any of my humans wrote that rubbish, they’d, well, be in trouble. One out of maybe five to ten times it has a lit moment and produces something helpful in less time than a human could. So not all bad, but still way too incompetent to assume world domination, or a place in our software.
