IK Multimedia group buy 2025

I bought AmpliTube 5 to join the group buy. I own TRacks5 Max, so I thought this would be a good possibility to upgrade to V6. I chose TRacks6Pro as one of the free gifts and the plan was to add the rest of the TRacks plugins also as free gifts. So i tried it with Tape Machine 24 and Tape Machine 440 and they only show up as version 5.10.4 in my account. Does anybody know why they don't show up as version 6 plugins?

Yes I know, thats why i wanted to add them (and the other plugins that are not in Max) one by one as free gifts. All the new ones (Prism Reverb, Dual Spring,,) show up as V6 (as they should) but as soon as I try to add an plugin which is already in 5 MAX they don't show up as V6 (but as V5).

There are a number of modules that, for whatever reason, show up as being version 5 in your account. As a result, they don't automatically show up as owned in the Modules Manager or T-RackS 6 itself. However, if you restore your purchases, they will be activated in version 6 as well (at least for those that I picked).

My guess is that someone messed up and didn't update all the modules' data when T-RackS 6 came out. I did contact support about this - especially given that all the other modules showed up automatically in version 6 upon registering, this inconsistent behaviour is confusing.

Oops, I misunderstood your post. You might try unauthorizing / reauthorizing TR6. Otherwise, it's one for Support

I think you are right.
When I registered Tape Echo in july (i got it as a gift from the audiodeluxe store). I installed T-RackS 6 INTRO and suddenly all all the plugins I had from T-RackS 5 Max where unlocked in V6 and still are. I wrote about this in the KVR forum and told people to do the same but some said it didn’t work for them. So I thought it was a glitch in Iks convoluted activation system. The Tape Echo which unlocked my plugins to V6 is also still in version 5.10.4 as I just found out. Iks system ist just really confusing.

I've thought about getting the "insane" amplitube deal on plugin boutique that was posted on bpb but the mere fact that I can't login to my account for two days now and also what I'm reading here about all the different versions and what is included in which packages, etc. makes me think this stuff isn't even worth the hassle.

I would say it's worth the hassle. I got MODO Drums 1.5, MODO Bass 2,
every Pianoverse Modell (any of them has about 50 GB of samples, though), full Tracks 6, Sample Tank 4, ARC X software and a few TONEX Signature Collection packs, Lurssen Mastering Console, Hammond B-3x for 35€ and I still have a few plugins to choose for free.

The FAQ says you can use Jam points but not matter what amount I put in for the Modo bass 2 upgrade it says the amount is too high for this product. Anyone able to use Jampoints?

The non-upgrade version of AmpliTube 5 is AmpliTube 5 CS (Custom Shop), which is the free version.

For most of IKMM's stuff, you can use your Jam Points to cover up to 1/3 of the purchase price.
