Sharing via Archive.org - anyone?

I am no longer using bandcamp, dumped soundcloud years ago and do not use any streaming service.
But sometimes I want to share what I have been making with friends.
I am thinking of using Archive.org - has anyone used it?

AFAIK, you can't remove things. I might be wrong. I would still use BandCamp for this for now, or, Hearthis.at. It is easier to manage and still quite direct.

I share software on there... Others use it for music... There is always alonetone.com which is pretty good to just upload for pointing others to... Don't know but there used to be a waiting list for sign-up...

BTW alonetone.com has NO ADS!! Which I hate... I dumped cable TV 30 years ago because of that shit now I dump most of the internet, it's getting pretty unruly around here too...
