Not really a plugin, but Audiomulch definitely... still haven't found anything for morphing between numerous states/presets that is as flexible as its 'metasurface', and as elegantly implemented.

Loomer Aspect 2

I'd also like to see the option to have a delay in one of the filter/waveshaper slots.0degree wrote: Fri Oct 24, 2025 2:45 pm Definitely Absynth - if they could at least add better filters and make the UI bigger it would be a massive win
Even if the piano player can't play, keep the party going.

Not a resurrection as i still use it (32-bit SE) but Psychic Modulations Construct drum synth. Probably surpassed in most areas now by newer ones but something about it's immediacy and, most importantly, sound I still drift towards. Bigger GUI, 64bit etc would be nice.

Camel Alchemy
energyXT 2.6
for 64bit Windows
I still can use both, but would be nice to see these brought to this year

A guy with serious GAS and lots of unused VSTs. But if I someday need them...

Had forgotten about this. I used to play with LiveSlice quite a bit back in the day...

I miss it too, that said AudioMulch still works on the Windows machines I have around, and I've managed to replicate much of its "everything as synchronized audio and automation" workflow in Ableton Live.

There are two things I'd want from Absynth: the three channels get separate outs, and a larger GUI.
Per the first I do an easy workaround, create three instances L, Center, R once I have the patch together. Any extra resources demand here is negligible.

Is there nothing that properly replaces Absynth these days? I'm ashamed to say it, but I never really got into it.

I wasn't thrilled with it either, but it's not like it was a hostile takeover. Ben Gillett willingly sold it to Apple and then got hired on as an audio developer. AFAIK he's still there as part of the Logic team under Gerhard Lengeling (Emagic founder).anxiousmofo wrote: Fri Oct 10, 2025 7:47 pmThis. The Apple buyout still gets my blood boiling every time I think about it.
