Anybody tried the plugin boutique purchase while already owning Amplitude 5? Basically I already own the exact product. Can I purchase a second copy and still get in on the group buy?

It is so ridiculously tempting.. though I've said I'd boycott IK Multimedia forever. This is giving me stupid amounts of GAS.

While I can't say for sure I don't see why this shouldn't work...
not exactly the same but as one of the free products I chose Modo Drums 1.5, which I already owned but had forgotten about (I thought I only owned the previous version and chose the upgrade to 1.5 to be exact...) fwiw nothing was preventing me from doing that...

How much space on the HD does Modo Drums and it's all expansions typically take? I mean, it's physical modeling.. all of it, right? Even the cymbals/hihats?

That's the product that tempts me the most. I remember trying the free kit at some point and being extremely impressed.

I own AmpliTube 5 MAX v2 and it worked for me.
I was about to do the same (boycott) because of their shitty upgrade policy from Tracks5 to 6. But now I paid as much as I was willing to pay for the upgrade and got nearly all of their stuff. Ik's a weird company but I like some of their plugins.

That's actually a superb point.. driving up my GAS even more. I absolutely LOATHE the company, but there is no denying the quality of their effects lineup. It is absolutely top tier sounding stuff.

Am I willing to sell my integrity for 37 euros? Maybe..

I haven't purchased a single IK product forever. Last plugin I bought was one of the Tascam tapes when they released. So, like 5 years ago?

When I saw what they claimed they would do…? I was like genius marketing ploy. No one will rush regardless and, smack my A** & call me surly!?? Look what happened….people told people, who told his best friend who told his Uncle, then he called his Bud…who called His Sister…who called IK to ensure it was true? To whit they replied with a Yes!! It’s true basically the entire software collection for less than a Benjamin?? Book it!!

Nope, only the drums are PM - iIrc it's roughly 14gb all in all...

That's very likely. Also Ik made at least 1.2 Million Euros out of this promo (let's assume 41083 Participants *30 € (minimum)).

Well, Pluginboutique will of course need to get its share too plus they'll have to pay taxes for it etc. - but I assume this deal is an unintended loophole that I am frankly quite surprised they haven't closed yet. I assume that most paid the normal price (going for the 99$ tier that covers most stuff) minus potentially jampoints, etc. (i.e. dealer discounts)...
