There was absolutely no change in the grace period or when you can use a code. An activation code is an activation code, they don't expire.

I think what he wants is a free upgrade to v15
- but his v14 will always work of course

If Steinberg changed to what you purchase is what you get it could be disappointment for many.

Whatever the grace period is can be disappointment for many anyway, so maybe they decided to drop it.

I stopped using Cubase 2018 so don't care being done with Steinberg since.

I myself have never heard of the grace period being removed (doesn't mean it isn't).
