...Probably an improvement on the current UI

Why would you say that as if there was a chance more wasn't to come? The question is what more is to come?
Maybe we'll see later this week. But I really hope it is better core usage in Windows and not some crummy clip launcher that some are screeching for.

I initially jumped the gun and wrote some details about C15 that was revealed to me by a trusted source. I later tried to delete the post but could not so I left it with "more to come". Anyway it should not be much longer before C15 is publicly announced.VitaminD wrote: Mon Nov 03, 2025 1:48 pmWhy would you say that as if there was a chance more wasn't to come? Apparently not, it's a well-kept secret.
We can perhaps assume a kind of clip launcher and, as is the trend these days, a stem separator.
Perhaps also an evolution of the modulators.
Just a thought.
In this way, Steinberg maintains its core identity but follows the trend.
Studio One has a clip launcher and stem separation.
FL Studio has a stem separator.
Even Pro Tools has a clip launcher.
Perhaps even AI, which is also in line with current trends.
If it wants to stay competitive, it has to adapt to the competition.
We should know soon, probably this week with Cubase Pro 15.

hopefully sandboxed plugins, that's about the only thing i'm keen for.
stability vs new features, i mean how much f**king more can a person need?
it's so bloated as it is. There must be some power users out there obviously,
but I just want a stable DAW. 90% of the bells and whistles I'm never gonna use.
yay commerce

Afaik the integrated version of Spectral Layers had Stem seperation long before it was a wet dream of the IL developers (as FL Studio was the first to have it integrated of the normal DAWs besides Spectral Layers)...Trancer wrote: Mon Nov 03, 2025 9:43 pm ...as is the trend these days, a stem separator.
