Good morning
The October synth release continues
Korg has just released Korg Collection 6 with three new additions: emulations of the PS-3300 analog Synthesizer and Trinity workstation, as well as the SGX-2 Piano from the Korg Kronos
Existing v5 customers can upgrade for $99, and v4 customers for $149.

I did a review of the new instruments

You can install the library wherever you like, and move it easily after the fact.

It can, you can move the data of any Korg plugin with sample data, it asks you where to install it when you first open it.dumbledog wrote: Tue Oct 28, 2025 4:49 am Thanks for the writeup on your site. I take it the sample library of the SGX-2 can't be moved to an external drive?

Great, was waiting for the Trinity, used to have the TR-Tack
Cool to get the SGX-2, guess they gonna milk the 9 engines of the Kronos before they put it in plugin, but guess they would need to have another flagship Keyboards before they do that
Hope the new Workstation plugin they release is the OASYS

The PS-3300 is the only thing that is of interest to me in the new collection
I feel like i have the trinity sounds covered 10 times over already with the Triton, M1, Wavestate and Wavestation.
I also have so many Piano sounds in Vst format and in Hardware that it gets kind of a waste of space to add Piano number 1001 in my vst folder.

You don't really. Triton doesn't sound the same as Trinity, Waveststion sounds lo-fi by comparison, and Wavestate sounds even more hi-fi by comparison. Trinity stands on its own.
