Yes and no - that's a half-truth and a false assumption on your side - if that's intentional or if you really don't comprehend the difference of what you just stated and the whole truth I can't say... :shrug:
AmpliTube 5 was excluded from the Group Buy (the non-upgrade version is what was being sold as a dealer exclusive deal, at an insanely low price, which is why it was excluded from the go) but at some point it ended up in the eligibility list so it became a loophole into the Group Buy. To be fully transparent it would have absolutely remained as such, even with the exclusion listed on the Group Buy page but our site and IK Product Manager had a very bad weekend as many are aware which included a bug for everybody where the redemptions were sending people to a blank page and in many cases not registering the redemption. While that was being fixed, the AmpliTube 5 "loophole" was also fixed - albeit unknowingly which I'm sure our IT team who thankfully doesn't visit here would love having me share. Since it had been enabled for a while already and we honestly would never have fixed if our site and IK PM didn't have issues, reversing that and re-enabling AmpliTube 5 was authorized and taken care of.
To do my best helping you to understand it I will do my best to "translate" it into "leichte Sprache" for you:

The inclusion of Amplitude in the group-buy was an error.

This error presented a loophole to the customers.

The IKMM web-servers had a bug over the weekend.

This bug was then fixed.

The Amplitude error was then also fixed while they were at it.

This was all done by people who have nothing to do with the sales.

Thus these IK-employees were unaware what the error-correction meant to certain customers.

And so they included Amplitube once again.

I have the MEMS mic and now ARC-X. If i could buy the ARC Studio Box alone......

Question please:

I previously had a bunch of TR5 plugins. No Pro or Max; just seperate plugs,
obtained via previous group buys.

Will my (seperately bought) Bus Compressor and Dyna Mu, for example,
become a v6 now i choose ''TR-6 Pro'' as redeem?

Good news, at least on my end: The 8 products that I had redeemed and that were not showing up in TONEX/Amplitube are now showing up. The Product Manager is still not working though.

yeah, they do, but then they substract from the amount they'd otherwise pay me all the negative things I said about Tonex and other stuff and then I end up with nothing. The other day Peter even said to me "now you actually owe us money".
To be fair there's indeed something regarding "negative marketing" in my contract with them - guess I should have read the fineprint.

It’s a shame really. I’m personally very happy with how things worked out for me but I can see the issues and the concerns are legit. This one got derailed twice . Opening it up benefitted me with the hardware eligibility qualifications (ARC Studio purchase in my case).Then they changed the tier levels which were all met but caused angst for some in the interim.

I am guessing here but I think that PB Amplitube buy in was likely set up in advance and someone forgot to put it on the exclusion list with the others that didn't qualify for the Group Buy.

So anyone who bought in from $49.99 up to $199.99 might feel betrayed given that someone else got the same deal for $29.99 at PB with the Amplitube purchase. They likely would feel especially hard done by if they thought it was deliberate. I highly doubt that to be the case but the damage is done. It is hard to control perception when something like this happens.

I’m surprised IK didn’t just get PB to pull Amplitube and honour those people who used it to qualify for the Group Buy . That would have been a relatively small number if acted upon immediately once detected and would have limited the fallout. It would have protected their bottom line as well.

I can only imagine that there are some upset IK employees trying to figure out a response now or ducking hoping it all blows over.Too many moving parts.

ok, so this has gone past strange...
after struggling with connection issues, as most of us, during the last few days and getting stuck with slots for products I could not redeem and a non working product manager, today the servers were apparently working (intermittently and slowly). anyway, I never got to actually redeem anything as it eventually hang somewhere along the way. then, out of the blue, upon one of the dozens of page refreshes I got the lovingly crafted message "none of your current product registrations trigger any current running promotions" and was advised to contact support (oh yes, off course). time for a walk outside and all that.
now, apparently working again the promotions page states I have redeemed all my products but one - so I have only one activation slot left over when I have registered less than half the items so far - precisely because the site was unable to handle that during the weekend.

anyone else got this? genuinely curious.

PS - I have nothing to do with the PB amplitude thing (was answer of that actually) I got Pianoverse Faziolli and it qualified me for the group buy.

Exact same situation for me. I'm pretty sure this will get sorted out before too long. I am happy to wait a few days.

Same here, upon refreshing the page, all but 1 pick are showing as redeemed. There are also only 30 picks showing in total, not the 49 currently in the Group Buy. Given that the Product Manager is still not working for me and the site is only working intermittently, I'm pretty sure this is just another sign that things are still messed up at IK's end.

Same. I get a "Connection error" message, but no such problem exists. It goes and comes back and goes and comes back. I had the same issue yesterday.

On the redeem page, I only see one new item at a time, which is pretty tedious to deal with.

When you redeem it, a new one pops up.
