I really don't see the reason for such vitriol. My main complaint is in some rookie mistakes in the UI design, like making you scroll through wave shapes or noise types. OK, maybe the entire UX could benefit from a redesign, but it's not too hard to figure out.db3 wrote: Tue Oct 28, 2025 7:01 pm Good to see G-Force trying different things. No matter the limitations, it sounds great to me. I'd describe it as a forward hi-fi kind of sound — which along with the interesting effects offers something different to my other synths.
It's got a weird, thin, buzzy sort of vibe, but I dig it. Do I need another synth? No. Could what I have be bent to do similar sounds? Yes. Do I think I'll buy it because it's worth $49 to get this specific group of features? Also, yes. I like it. I like that it's not trying to sound "good." I've got lush, warm, organic, etc, synths coming out of my butthole, so something like this, which seems to have a ton of personality, is attractive.
