I checked there and all the obvious places before posting. I'm not even finding a folder for those two under their designated install path. They open (launch) after install the first time on the desktop though.
Puzzled.

User banks are stored in the documents folder, so when you save, it goes there, and if you want to import user banks you have to place it in the same spot. Not sure about Windows, but I'm guessing it's similar.hurricaneaudiolab wrote: Tue Oct 28, 2025 9:56 pm Anyone see any way to import banks on the Trinity?

IIRC, Korg licenses are per user not per computer so you should be able to install them on as many devices as you have. At least I know I have installed them on at least 5 systems so far.Funky40 wrote: Tue Oct 28, 2025 10:19 pm i can´t find the info:
the License is good for how many Computers ?
The old Korg authorisation system was a pita, but the new software pass is as painless as it comes.
Anyway, the info is out there and I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Just checked for my own sanity. Ninja'd there. All good.
I've recently been buying a few mini-computers to leave around the place for when I stay, like at my folks' house or girlfriend's etc. etc. So I've got about 6 or 7 of them at the moment that I'm installing software on. First is U-he as you can pretty much install on as many as you like, and that is why I own every single plugin made by him and his team (and the fact they are great plugins).
These kind of licenses are still a bit of a rarity but it's surprising how many devs do actually do this. Sonic Charge (Microtonic, Synplant), Kilohearts, Xfer (Serum, LFOTool), Apisonic (Speedrum) and Audiorealism (ADM Drum machine, Bassline) are all devs that come to mind that have this licensing model. And that is why I buy from them before anyone else and buy every single thing they do. Trust goes both ways.
I mean, imagine not being able to make whatever kind of music you could imagine even with just U-he and Korg synths.
And if you are prepared to put up with needing a 'dongle', even Waves can be used on as many computers as you have as long as the license is stored on a USB stick. It's a bit of a pain for sure, but still, I own a couple of their bundles and this allows me to get the max use out of them. I need to do this for my older versions of Cubase which I still use.
Anyway, Korg is a very easy buy for me because of this policy. I know the plugins aren't that expensive for what you get (update works out at 25 quid per plugin for me for the new bundle), but the fact you can install them on all your computers really seals the deal.
I'm sure if you installed on like 50 machines you might have some problems but really it's not that unusual to have a half dozen machines or so in circulation for whatever needs.
And those manufacturers are always first and foremost in my mental mind space so any time something new shows up I pounce on it (like this update). I also own over a dozen bits of Korg hardware. Recent purchases being the ModWave and WaveState software (for the hardware I own).
Anyway, this is a solid update from Korg. Not the most exciting in the world, they obviously were hedging their bets here, but they had me had the Trinity, the PS-3300 is the icing on the cake. And the Piano stuff is just gravy for me to play with after recently buying in to Modartt's Pianoteq - will be interesting to see how they compare.
It's good to see the 'Big 3' in the synth game still going all these decades later. I think Korg are going stronger than all of them when it comes to hardware/software and integration and just making tools available to the average punter at an affordable price and not without too much inconvenience (why I never bought in to the Roland stuff).

I've just tried again and SGX-2 is downloading properly this time. Thanks for the tip.D-Fusion wrote: Tue Oct 28, 2025 8:49 pmI have similar issue with Trinity.Aloysius wrote: Tue Oct 28, 2025 2:00 pm I'm trying not to spend money on upgrading, so this is as negative as I could make it.
SGX-2 Unable to try the demo. Virus Threats found.
PS-3300. If someone told me this was a Cherry Audio synth, I'd believe them.
Trinity. Some nice sounds but I think I have them covered a hundred times over.
Windows 11
It downloads and then i get a message from windows security center that a virus is found so i can't install it.
Had the same issue with a few of the new collection 5 plugins when they where released too.

I can install their software on all the machines I have, so far. Maybe I got something wrong. What is a "good guy"?
I see United Plugins are not on that list. I can install all their software on all my machines. I'm sorry I'm not familiar with the criteria of what constitutes a "good guy". Anyway, probably best to keep this for another thread. It wasn't my intention to derail. Sorry if I misunderstood.
