I love using all of Tone Projects' products. If Tone Projects makes a mastering limiter, I'm sure it will be fantastic.

I don't know if anyone still uses it, but the TC Poco Brickwall limiter is also fantastic. I think it's particularly successful in terms of transparency.

192khz session +3-4db l2 on Modern into +0.1db l2 Transparent with isp is the thing for me, with a standardClip before.
But I'm getting bored by l2 so looking forward for something New to replace it with, that offer similar control and similar transparency

One of the reasons I have more clippers than I do limiters.electro wrote: Sun Oct 26, 2025 6:40 pmI believe this. The right clipper on each individual channel can't be beat. A brickwall isp limiter is for the master Bus. Newfangled Elevate by Eventide is another Master Bus option.MichaelWhiteMusic wrote: Sun Oct 26, 2025 2:33 pm Best limiter imho is a clipper with a very good balanced mix

Yep! The limiter becomes less important.Kai Enaki wrote: Thu Nov 20, 2025 7:50 amOne of the reasons I have more clippers than I do limiters.electro wrote: Sun Oct 26, 2025 6:40 pmI believe this. I don't know how common this is for others, but I use my limiter (L2) as a metering tool to see if I need to EQ something. Might be something for Fabfilter, or anyone else for that matter, to expand on. Other than that it just sits there at -1db for good measure.

Any news about this?muratengin wrote: Wed Oct 29, 2025 4:01 pm Has the new limiter everyone keeps talking about come out yet? It would be great if someone could satisfy our curiosity.
