RC6 Manual: What is the meaning of "Drag original phrase and rhythm"?

today i decided to work my way step by step through the RC6 manual.
arrived at page 41 there is the first thing i don't understand: what is • Drag original phrase&rhythm: Alt/Option+drag phrase?
if i do so i get a new phrase which keeps the rhythm but the melody is only one note.

Sorry for the confusion. I have fixed the wording in the online manual, and in the application as well.

Now they are:
• Drag rhythm without variations: Alt/Option+drag phrase
• Drag rhythm with variations: Alt/Option+Shift+drag phrase

Basically you can drag the "rhythm part" from the phrase.
