Dom had 25 new features in C15. I don't think a single one of them appeals to me. The stem separation looks useful, but isn't that already in Spectralayers? I guess it's quicker to have it on hand directly in Cubase. A compressor with autogain - oh super-duper, like I don't have 3rd party ones already that have done that for years

. Shitloads of other "features" that seem to be AI based write-the-song-for-me-while-I-go-to-sleep-and-give-up-making-music. It took me all of the length of this video to decide for me - not interested in C15 in the slightest. I suppose not all versions can be exciting upgrades, but this one is a complete yawnfest. TBH it looks more like a 0.1 update than a whole version upgrade

Same here. With each big update Cubase becomes more bloatware. At the same time there is this age old audio engine underneath all that bloat which should be renewed completely so that it e.g. doesn't interrupt playback when a plug-in is added/removed. Then they further doubled down on this horrible UI introduced in v13.

I just entered my Cubase 14 code in Download Assistant and it displayed a message stating that I was redeeming Cubase 15 via the Cubase 14 grace period.
However, in the 'My Products' section it shows Cubase 14 and not 15. Whereas logged in to the Cubase website it shows my licenses as Cubase 13 and 15, not 14.
What the hell?

Wow, the ultra shaper plugin alone was worth the upgrade. Tested it on drums. I haven't had the time for more than 10 minutes and can't wait to try everything else new from C14 too. This weekend will be fun.

Just restart Download Assistant and you will see 15.

Have they upgraded/fixed the download assistant? I don't even have it installed. Was a nightmare for me as it never did what it was supposed to.

Download Assistant has not been a problem for me. The Cubase product has subcategories now. Other than that, it's pretty much looking the same to me. Not sure whether anything changed under the hood.

Running Download Assistant as admin can help a lot on Windows.
It updated itself today.

Since cubase 11 (my first cubase) I upgrade every other using some planning on upgrade discounts and testing the in between versions close to the next release according to the history of cubase releases. So, 11 -> 13 -> 15. I'm very happy with 14 so far and I hope 15 is going to be at least as good. This looks more like a "refinement" release but to be honest I'm pretty Ok with that.

I've been using Cubase since 1989 and for me personally this is the WORST UPDATE I've ever seen. This should have been a free 14.5 update. Does Steinberg have anything left for innovation? This will be the first time I've ever skipped a paid update. I thought 14 was the unremarkable, but 15 takes the prize.

You have cubase 15, they probably just haven't updated all of the text in the My Products. This happened with me when I updated to Cubase 14. No worries.
