Universal Audio Signature V3 Upgrade, how to buy?

I bought the 41 plugin Signature Edition bundle directly from UA 2 years ago when they offered it. Last year, they did the v2 update, but you had to pay full price again to just get a few plugins. Nothing was interesting, so I passed on that. This year, v3 is now out, and still, now it's even more expensive, and no Upgrade path. Plugin Boutique seems to have offered it... but no, I don't qualify for it. I'm thinking I had to have bought it from PB before to qualify? I've never in my life seen it so difficult to just upgrade to the next version, or been expected to pay full price like I never bought the first version. Anyone know of a work around? I'd buy it for the $99 price PB has it on sale for right now for Black November.

Yes, same here, I’ve got the UAD Signature Edition v1 and the Guitar Bundle, so I’m only missing about six plugins. Crazy indeed. But of course, for me, it’s either the upgrade price or no deal at all.

Funny, I was just thinking about taking the same route to navigate these muddy waters
Guess I’ll hold my horses for now. Veronica, let us know when you get the code and if it works!

I bought fron Sweetwater. They called later in the day after I bought and asked for proof of ownership of Signature Edition. I provided invoice from my purchase of V1 from UA and a bit later they provided serial.

There we go. Ordered from Sweetwater, and sent my invoice of my v1 purchase from UA's website. Waiting now...

AFAIK Sweetwater aren't allowed to sell UA licenses outside of North America. So, if it works to allow v1 users to upgrade to v3, it still leaves other areas out of luck. Hopefully UA will offer a solution..

I almost got the Ocean Way Studios Deluxe upgrade for $49. Then I saw the UAD Custom 2 Bundle for $99, and almost got it instead, to get OWS Deluxe + A-Type for $49 each. Then today I got the email that says I can get the Signature Bundle 3 upgrade for $99.
The one thing I've learned about Universal Audio is always wait for a better deal.

The funnay... I own the vast majority of the included titles and yet I'd have to pay full price for it... one would think they'd use the opportunity to make a few bucks on the side... I mean: going by the amount of (extremely unenticing) marketing e-mails they're sending me, one could get the idea they're extremely desperate to sell me something after all.
